Holmes (left) and Haener |
SHE (countess Heather) CANNOT STAND HER-- (Diva Haener) --LIKEWISE, SHE HATES THE HELL OUT OF HER TOO
It's come down to this: professionally, Julie Haener and her chief rival at KTVU, Heather Holmes are on board (why wouldn't they be, you ask, hold on) --and that's the proper etiquette.
Privately, they DESPISE one another.
Haener, who has a multitude of ego-oriented issues, (don't fall for the cutesy look and appearance) seethes at the sight and notices about Holmes, who very quietly but vociferously campaigns for her (JH) job at 10 PM on the main KTVU News (not sloppy TV36(6)
A HUGE issue (among many) at FOX/Oakland: the Holmes/Haener conflict is more than your garden-variety battle royale: Haener knows that HH has all but put her career on hold to jettison the 10 PM gig. It was not so long ago that Holmes gave the suits a virtual ultimatum --play me or trade me--KTVU balked but held her down (giving her a modest pay raise) and is now playing a sort of rope-a-dope. As they buy time, real things happen.
Fox execs have huddled privately about how to placate both but so far, they're failing miserably. The EGO has landed. And we haven't even touched the ring yet.
2 bada-bings.

ReplyDeleteSimple. Fire them both. Talent can be replaced. Viewers have short memories. The suits sound like spineless Liberals.

DeleteOh, that alone shows what an idiot you are.
> Simple. Fire them both.
Shows you're a bigger idiot. Fire two people with contracts without cause. Might want to read up on employment law, moron.
> Negocios es Negocios! (Business is Business).
Which is why they won't fire them. You're making it personal. If they behaved the way you say, they'd soon be out of business. See, idiot, there are these things called lawyers and lawsuits and courts.
Now, go back to Faux & Friends.
I personally prefer & like to hear & see Julie H. It also helps my local Reno NV Fox station will simulcast the 10 pm KTVU news (but not the 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, or 11pm KTVU broadcasts).
ReplyDeleteI think Heather H.'s upcoming competition of Allison R., Cristina R., and even Allie R. make KTVU my overall favorite for Bay Area news. However we need great people in the field too. I'm watching for them, too; not just the anchors in the studio.
I also wonder if Julie H. negotiated more time-off (whether paid or unpaid) in lieu of a larger salary increase as it just seems to me she often is off from her Sunday through Thursday work days. Maybe is more noticeable to me as I'm particularly looking for her.
Took the bait eh Wanky? Your kind always make me laugh. Ever watch a cat toy with a mouse then lose interest? What comes next?
ReplyDeleteContracts can be bought out and or nullified dumbshit!NDA's if well drafted cover the VU's backside. Everything and everyone is expendable! Now, go back to your safe space and cower.
This world has no temperance for weaklings . Only the strong and well-armed survive.

DeleteOnly if the parties *want to,* dumbshit. You're talking to a lawyer here. I'm betting I know just a little more than you since I do this for a living, and my year-end bonus was probably more than you made all year, assuming you work.
Hey, ButtBoy,
ReplyDeleteYou are banging one of them aren't you you stupid shit?
