I Cannot Stand the daily (M-F actually) dreckfast heard locally (yeah, right, straight from Sacramento) known as "Armstrong and Getty." How these two morons are still on the air is beyond me other than KGO needs bodies.
Oh yeah, they are syndicated which only further reinforces that the West Coast stations (including KGO) have zero creative energy, if they ever had any to begin with. A parakeet with a mic would be more listenable and far cheaper but why the hell be reasonable when reasonable was flushed down the toilet with these clowns.
I said I have no love for these buffoons and have said so repeatedly. More than just your garden-variety dreck, they are, among other things, the BIGGEST frauds on the planet. Even their lemmings know that and if they don't I'm here to pointedly point out their utter bullshit and crap mobile. They need to be called out, every day, every moment.
Their little pathetic program reminds me of the 7-11 late night foray for wonder bread: you've been shitfaced on an all-night bender and are staggering so bad that you can't stop and get real bread so you have to settle for the bad coffee and shitty 1.99 white mush they call bread. Armstrong and Getty are 11 loafs of the crappy white glop of wonder bread only the bread isn't as fake as the Branson buttheads and you don't have to always eat that shit, you can sober up and fetch the Melba toast later.
These two clowns continue to spout that they're MOR which is about as credible as me riding the Tour de France. They are not MOR. They have never been MOR. If they're middle of road, I'm Tulsi Gabbard and I'm not. You know that fake, scammed, Chinese woman voice you get on your smart phone? She has more cred than these putrid, maleficent mutts on the radio.
It's not so much they broadcast FAKE hyena laughs and cackles; it's not so much their alleged appeal to overweight white guys who think American Idol was a documentary; it's not so much their amen corner just love their wonder bread sense of humor; it's their COMPLETELY FALSE and FAKE political make-up. They purport to be objective and truly state every day "we have no dog in this fight"--I'm paraphrasing but you get the gist. They are false actors at best and committed hypocrites and scam artists at worst.
They might as well register with the Trump gestapo and get some side cash. They are Trump loyalists. There's nothing wrong with that only these two frauds would want you to believe they're objective. HA! I'm not a big fan of Joe Biden but to continually lampoon his age and make fun (without just saying so) of a man's mental capacity as these ass wipes do every day, is not only not funny but morally indefensible and bordering on boorishness. It is radio fit for doofus hacks who loved Forrest Gump and are on Rush Limbaugh's mega dittos mailing list. The only thing missing is a Fresno cocktail party.
I said KGO and their other list of terrestrial trite radio outlets have no creative force and believe this shit is entertaining. I don't know all their ratings. I will only say they get some scant traction because it's the only thing on da radio or at least what amounts to listening to a modified Drudge Report. Whatever, bottom line is they suck. They have always sucked. They continue to suck and suck, suck, suck, they suck.
Pardon my juvenile behavior but I tried my damn best to be objective and listen to these fools and give them half a chance and they continue to mumble and bumble. The political BS behind the fake MOR crap makes me sick. They get away with it, sorry, much because the people who like them and think they're funny don't have much upstairs; these are people who you won't see on Jeopardy and believe Wheel of Fortune is a challenge. I hate to generalize but what else is there to conclude?
If I had five minutes with these guys I'd get in their face and call 'em out like the boring canards they are but they refuse to offer any real, cogent slob a chance to rebuke their unmitigated bullshit. They'd prefer to spray the population with FAKE laughs and silly opines from right-wing websites. Or to be more precise, Trump ghetto hangouts for the mentally retarded who just love that 7-11 bread.
At least the Drudge Report ( a must read regardless of your politics) has come to its senses re: the imminent impeachment of the dangerously pathological president.

But that these 2 are on a once legacy station in SF is a testament to 1) a bankrupt media company trying desperately to fill air for almost nothing; 2) the past and fired previous PD at Kgo who put them on and proved to be so inept at his job he was banished soon after; 3) Their ratings here are below non-existent, but even though their contract is virtually worthless, it's still cumulus and see point 1 above.
ReplyDeleteI'm a liberal Dem and I enjoy AG. It's good to have some balance on a very liberal, politically correct KGO. They do have an excellent sense of humor. They refer to the Calif. homeless as the "bum explosion". They also mentioned.... Elizabeth (Pocahontas) Warren was seen canoeing around Alcatraz with the Native Americans.

I concur w/your A&G assessment completely Rich. I expect A&G show airing immediately prior the 10-noon Mark Thompson show does his show no favors either. In fact any host holding a middle of the road to progressive political view in the spot following A&G is gonna have much difficulty gaining a listening audience.
