KRON might be on the verge of seeing its last days...as we know it. For some, that could not come faster.
Things are in a state of flux, that's for sure.
We're hearing from a few Insiders that its parent company, Media General, is, once again, meeting with Nextstar ... (they met last month in SF at KRON--I reported it).
Rumor mill is swirling with reports of imminent demise...we'll keep you up to date.
I'm a Bentley guy and I love Nexstar
ReplyDeleteIf a tree falls in the woods and nobody hears it...
ReplyDeleteKRON slept with a Bentley. The Karma is undeniable.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the warning. I'll treasure every remaining moment that Darya and Radnich are on the air - OR NOT.
ReplyDeleteYou know, the Colorado Springs market could use some Twin Peaks like Darya...right betw-...up her alley...
DeleteAs a Bentley owner I only advertise for Nexstar. They are local friends, live near by me, and have been around since 1864...
ReplyDeleteI think KRON's demise has been more or less imminent since 11:35 p.m. December 31, 2001.
ReplyDeleteLooks like KGO-TV might get their floor back at Front Street!
ReplyDeleteI want some swag!
ReplyDeleteWhat will Brittney Shipp do????
ReplyDeleteShe has a side gig and has working at it for a few months. But, she's really looking at moving out of the area - probably down to the LA area. Hopefully, she lands something down there or anywhere.
DeleteThe same thing she'd do if KRON survived---go to Los Angeles and make a metric fuck-ton more money.
DeleteI hope the dream comes true. Viewers don't have to see Darya Folsom yelling and screaming every morning. Consider this....all the TV station already got their main anchors, how will they fit in during the morning hours?
ReplyDeleteex-kron Rosenheim at KPIX will hire Folsom; continuing to stink up the place with that kron stench. Watch as kpix falls deeper into its hole
DeleteWon't miss them at all
ReplyDeleteGet rid of Darya and Fatnich
ReplyDeleteDo you think KRON will sign-off completely, or morph into 24 hours of infomercials?
ReplyDeletePlease Aaron Pero an Uber driver, Please Aaron Pero have to be an Uber driver...
ReplyDeleteWhere would Dr. Phil wind up if KRON goes dark?
ReplyDeleteOn the CW. The show is done at CBS in LA.
