What will Happen in San Diego Tonight Before 49ers-Chargers

Image result for KPIX Colin Kaepernick 49ers vs Chargers At about a little before 7 PM West Coast Time, about 300 still photographers, 10 or so video cameras will be focused on #7, that's Colin Kaepernich for those of you just back from Pluto. What will happen next, probably, is the playing of the National Anthem direct from San Diego's Qualcomm Stadium.

And then presumably, to make sure the story is good, Kaepernick will stop standing, head to the bench and order a Subway Sandwich. No, just kidding.

Kaepernick will sit and be booed by roughly 60,000 fans and the Walmart crowd from El Cajon. KPIX is televising the game --advertised to begin @ 6: 59 so the anthem, which is usually never shown, will be heard and viewed.

KPIX is hoping for theatrics. I heard several guys in San Diego are dressing up as General Patton and hope to make it to the 49ers bench if Kap follows through...security will be tight, I bet.

Then it's kickoff.

  2. Willie Brown used to hide in SD when things got tough in SF.
Colin won't be the first. They will let him out alive.

  3. It's also "Military Appreciation Night" there, with beaucoup military displays, flyovers, and on-field recognition of police and military, with free admission for vets, spouses, and immediate family members, and serving personnel. The boo-chorus has there by default. I understand there will also be 200 active-duty Marines and Naval personnel doing some kind of on-field presentation before the game....do you think one or two might get close enough to the Niner's bench to accidentally ram the back end of a gun into Kap's stomach. "oops, sorry!"

  4. The fact that he is bringing all this crap down on all his teammates and the 49er organization, and I can guarantee what you see tonight will continue the entire season, should be grounds for automatic removal!!

He doesn't like the police, he's lucky the laws of this Country are protecting him, extremely lucky, just like Jane (Hanoi) Fonda!!

If it were not for the Men and Women who stepped forward and served in the Armed Forces of the United States, there would not be an NFL.

To those who served, regardless of your opinion on this matter, this Vietnam Veteran "salutes" each and everyone of you!

San Diego will speak for America tonight!!!

    1. @4.59 "If it were not for the Men and Women who stepped forward and served in the Armed Forces of the United States, there would not be an NFL." I do not get this connection at all - When Russia and East Germany were communist, they had some of the strongest sports programs around. China now, too.

    1. They returned after I unplugged the box for a half hour. Uh-huh.
Kap? I see he's getting some MO built up. IF there is a police shooting in the near future,he just might get many more teammates to join him. You watch.

  10. Like it or not, the Niners are stuck with this guy. You really think they want to give the backup job so some guy named Driskel or to the ultimate third stringer, Christian Ponder?

  11. Kap's protest isn't against the military. People who conflate the two are imbeciles.

  12. I once did a post of me advising the then angry Kap that "beautiful woman throw themselves at you and you're hideous. Why? because you are an NFL rich QB."
You see his comrade GF? Halle Barry, only younger and with that same thin nose.
So,I was right. Plus it explains his change. He's pussy whipped. An old, old, young man story...
