Are You All Ready For Some Major News? 'They Said It Would Never Happen'--Really Now? Big Vinny Didn't Get The Memo

They said it couldn't happen. They doubted my veracity. They underestimated my loyal readers, my posse, my regulars; Michael Zwerling--the broadcasting raconteur who put up with all my neurosis and TOOK a Chance-- my time has come to GO where no one has gone, taking risks, entertaining, enlightening and giving YOU ALL, even my enemies, a forum that will ROCK this region and beyond.

  1. Zzzzzzzzzzz you're worse than 95.7 and their "huge announcements"

  2. Can you clarify what should be expected, using plain OfficeDweller language?

    1. Of radio broadcasting origin.
Stay tuned and check back here from time to time. (Yes, that's a tease.)

  3. You are going to do morning drive in Utah with Monty as your PD!

  4. Lieberman has posted the same hyperbolic tease before without any followup.

    Don't hold your breath.

  5. Someone should tell Rich that there's a picture of Porky Pig in a fedora posted on his blog.

    2. I like Rich in the fedora. I was actually thinking of sporting one myself. Not sure I could pull it off tho

  6. Rich I love the website and I love you....but I had to laugh...you left yourself open for some bad jokes with this statement...

"my time has come to GO where no one has gone"

I had to laugh when I thought, "Yea, all the way past 1050 to parts unknown on the AM dial" =p.

    Good luck Rich!

  7. Rich gets either his OWN show at a different time slot or he's completely going to baffle us and join a main stream station like the Knibber or the Mattress Station.

That or he has the first ever Post Lawsuit interview with Ralph.

    1. That's funny. Rich DOES have a sports background doesn't he? It just might be work.

I do like Ray Ratto tho. More than Tolbert, Rod/Bob, and morning crew combined. Gary and Larry are my faves.

  10. If your "interview" with Ralph Barbieri about 1 year ago was a measurement of your "skill" on a microphone, then my blow-hard friend, you are delusional.

I do enjoy your blog from time to time and do enjoy well done radio, so I will give you another go, or two. But honestly, I still haven't recovered from my first time hearing you on the radio. What a shock it was to read your blog, with such a spirited attitude, for so long, only to discover your abysmal attempt at an interview with Ralph Barbieri.

    Shockingly bad radio that was...

At least you’re not “blowing yourself” up much over this...

    1. I am impressed that Rich is confident enough to print your scathing review. It shows that he it not afraid of beginning a new career adventure even when not being a Perfect Man. To writer 11;58am, you were very blunt, but you were not gratuitously mean about it. The factors of your opinion were stated and defined. There is going to be sporadic unhappiness when in the business of making people happy, ask any Chef or musician.
