Kosir OUT at KRON after just two days on job; 'Rapping Weatherman' escapes 1001 Van Ness

Just two days after his debut, (last Monday,) Nick Kosir, a KRON hire who was known as the "Rapping Weatherman", is suddenly out at the station, (for reasons not immediately known, yet) and, in fact, KRON has posted a job listing on its website to look for a new weather guesser.

My best guess is that Kosir wanted to do his rapping shtick right off the bat, but KRON's upper brass told him to "stick straight" because at KRON, "they take weather seriously". Kosir replaced the recently departed Evelyn Taft, now performing in LA.

We'll try to dig around and see if we can learn more later Monday.

  1. That has to be a bay area record-MUST be. A main 'caster let go after two days? I never even got to see his act once. It was weird that KRON never did any adds or announced him before hand. He showed up..two day later, gone?
Radnich had to have had a hand in this. I told you he would goad that guy into rapping within three days-didn't I ?

  2. Maybe KRON found out he wasn't an intern.

    (Yes, I went there. Sorry.)

  4. Send him to San Diego. He'll fit right in at the "classier" stations, such as KUSI and FOX 5.
