I'm going to say it again.
Listen to the sports-talk radio shows today. Read the blogs and monitor the "water-cooler" talk at your place of business.
SF is a football town even though the 49ers look clueless and a Mike Singletary implosion looms on the horizon.
I'll bet you there's very little, if any, chatter about the Giants--remember them? They're in first place and headed to the playoffs, yet the 49ers DOMINATE the sports news cycle, just as I said a few weeks ago.
**NOTES...Once again, 49ers radio analyst, Gary Plummer, was openly critical on the team's play, and blurted out some beauties: "There's players out there that should be embarrassed to cash a paycheck." Late in the game, Plummer went further, "Is it the coaching?"...Why Ted Robinson is one of the best: When the 49ers scored their meaningless last-play TD, Robinson showed no emotion in his call, as he should have. Most announcers would have provided some degree of excitement--Robinson showed complete audio deference.
MONDAY RUNDOWN--

Oh yeah?,Well you won't have Jimmy Raye to kick around anymore...fired at 8am.
ReplyDelete20 minutes after Mike Singletary's announcement during a press conference that Jimmy Raye was let go,Damon Bruce is all over it. Bob Fitzgerald at the same exact time, is talking Warrior basketball. 12-3 on KNBR is truly one very long daily Warrior commercial.
ReplyDeleteLowell Cohn wrote an excellent online article titled, "Mike, Jimmy Has Got To GO." This article was on the 49er Sports Webpage last night. As of late last night, and today, that article has been removed....Why??????
ReplyDeleteAnswer...It is the 49er Organization shutting down bad Info about them, and the Yorks again.
