Rich, are you seriously this worked up that a sports talk station didn't ask a football player his thoughts on a presidential debate? With all due respect, I completely disagree with your take on this. Had KNBR asked Bosa such a question, I have no doubt you would've done a broadcast about how amateurish, inappropriate and unprofessional it was.
But let's play this out as Rich would've preferred. So who exactly was supposed to ask Bosa about his political hot takes: John Lund? Markus 'The Waterboy' Boucher? Or Dieter Kurtenbach, the buffoon who lately has been talking smack about Rich to anyone at the station willing to listen?
I do not give a Rat’s Ass about some rich jock’s opinion about anything. I care even less for any lump’s opinion at KNBR - they share too much of their moronic thoughts already.
@8:17 Rich has been very critical of KNBR, particularly their coverage, or lack thereof, of the Ricky Pearsall shooting. For reasons only he knows, Dieter Kurtenbach has internalized Rich's critiques and has been unusually defensive. He now acts as KNBR's de facto mouthpiece for anti-Rich rhetoric within the building.
I don't like Kurtenbach. He comes off as far too argumentative and disagreeable simply for the sake of disagreeing. There's a reason he's a fill-in gypsy without a show of his own.
It would be like asking a toddler to explain quantum physics.. Let the jocks play sports and if they open their mouth I'd should be that they gave it 110 percent and other cliches.
Swing and a miss here Rich on your take. No one cares what Bosa thinks about Trump or the debate. He is a pilgrim in an unholy land where many people dislike him for his political beliefs.
Unholy land? Thank you pious one. Given the photo with Trump, I think a question to Bosa on the debate or his political views is warranted and fair game. I would be more interested in Purdy’s views though. I assume he is a Republican but maybe not on the Trump bandwagon but who knows. Evidently, Swifties care what Taylor thinks; so I don’t know why Rich is getting all this comments’ section flack as our “stars’” opinions matter to many people, especially those who unfortunately can’t think for themselves..
@Anonymous 10:05am Typical Libtard! The Bay Area is an unholy land with rampant drug use, gun violence, inflation on everything, violent crime, retail store invasion, break-ins and shoplifting. Hope you don't become a victim as you sit in your better than thou high castle. Weakling!
Nick Bosa's job is to make tackles and sack quarterbacks; his political leanings are irrelevant. Additionally, in 2019, before the NFL draft, Bosa made a point of saying he would delete all his previous pro-Trump and pro-MAGA tweets and refrain from making any further political statements. So, he met Trump at a wrestling event during the off-season and seemed excited about the opportunity to shake hands and exchange pleasantries—big deal.
As a registered Democrat who will proudly vote for Kamala Harris, I support Bosa’s right to back the candidate of his choice without being badgered about his political views or treated as some sort of oddity. Let's appreciate Bosa's contributions on the field without expecting him to serve as a political analyst.
Well said. There needs to be more civility in humanity, especially regarding politics. The great thing about a democracy is the freedom for everyone to express their views/opinions freely. If you agree, fine. If not, just be civil. No need for all the hostility and rude comments.
@ 8:04 Yes, well said; I remembered my Father having political conversations with some of his friends with opposing views and it was civil, nobody shun anyone, get mad or insulted anybody; nowadays especially in blue states like CA's Dem predominately areas Repubs wouldn't dare announce they support Repubs like stickers, hats and banners; if more people have your thinking and attitude we would all be in a better place, Thank you, Sincerely
Speaking of sports, what happened to the KTVU sports department? Seems like all sportscasts are now handled by news reporters. Bailey O’Carroll seems to be the 49er beat reporter. No Fonzi, no Applebum. What gives?
Money! KTVU/Fox is trying to cut cost with someone who knows little to no football knowledge. Bring back Joe Fonzi, Mark Ibanez, Jason Applebaum and Bubba Paris
“KTVU/Fox is trying to cut cost with someone who knows little to no football knowledge.”
That’s not true! Bailey O. knew that CMC didn’t play, Mason ran for 147 yards, and Jake Moody was 6 for 6! No joke, reciting the box score was the extent of her analysis after Monday night’s game.
Don't forget she talked to Kristin Juszczyk's husband. Unbelievable! Would love to get her take on the Vikings loss? Maybe Bailey can breakdown the poor offensive line play and she can tell big Trent Williams "You need to play better, mister." LOL
Come on Folks, KNBR is crap on a cracker on its best day. Bosa is a “Man-Grabber”. Let that sink in when you think you want to hear his opinion. While many take credit for his sacks, his sack total has been on a downward trajectory. He’s making over $600,000 for each sack. I hope he is donating some money to the teachers who educated him.
Yes, 2:35am, is that the same Willie Brown that Your Orange-Faced Emperor mis-recalled telling him smack about her when they almost crashed in a helicopter?
Let's ask Stormy Daniels about his exploits, as well as E Jean Carroll to whom he owes $18 million for his sexual abuse, and now the totally sane Laura Loomer as his moll! She should stop talking about their activities, those both intimate and public!
@6:05 am Good shot !! But remember being sane, reasoned, using facts to back up your claim, only gets the Troll to use name calling and tired old tropes.

ReplyDelete100% agree.

Why does Kurtenbach have beef with Rich? I can’t ever recall Rich mentioning him in one of his broadcasts.

DeleteMost people would want to hear athletes talk about politics?? I beg to differ. I have zero interest in athletes talking politics.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you. KNBR is for sports talk. It would be different if Bosa was invited by KCBS to talk about Trump.
DeleteIt would be like asking a toddler to explain quantum physics..
DeleteLet the jocks play sports and if they open their mouth I'd should be that they gave it 110 percent and other cliches.
Not sure if you ever heard Bosa speak, but he's about as interesting as watching paint dry.

DeleteBosa has a very low IQ. He speaks like Mike Tyson.
ReplyDeleteProbably higher then Tolbert and Dopeland combined
Delete@ 6:10 Hey dumshit, he/Tyson has more money than your poorly educated ass will have a thousand times over, dweeb
Delete@ 6:10 That's Ludicrous! Just like your public education writing skills.

DeleteNo thanks. No politics on sports talk shows.
ReplyDeleteBosa is the man because he doesn’t give a fuck what anybody else thinks.

DeleteFunny how 6 months ago Biden was being told to dump Harris as his running mate she is the original hawk tuey girl ask Slick WIllie Brown
ReplyDeleteBosa's political leanings only mean something to him.
ReplyDeleteThe bigger story is his grandfather's being the head of a Mob family.
Fogettaboutit!!!!!!!
It's probably the best sports station to stay away from politics.

@1:41pm. Well the former guy does wear more makeup and Aquanet on the balding dome than any cross dresser. He looks like Devine.
ReplyDeleteHire that loser Jason Barrett who hired that loser Aubrey Huff if you want things to get interesting.
