  1. Why does the#5 media market not have good media? Is it because of tech?

  2. Dana Bash did a fair job on the Harris interview. She should've pressed on the fracking issue. Harris said she doesn't support fracking, but what does she support in place of fracking? According to ChatGPT, fracking is currently used in 60-70% of the time for oil/gas extraction.

    1. I think she flip-flopped on this issue. During the interview, she said she does not support the banning of fracking.

    2. @ 12:20 Totally disagree; I'm a Dem and was waiting all day on hard questions, nothing but softballs, completely different treatment with JD Vance, much harder questions although I gave her credit on the debate, she was fair and non partisan surprisingly

    3. @5:50 I didn't think she got softball questions, but the tone of the interview felt more calm and maybe less confrontational than the JD interview. For all candidates, we need more details on answers. For example, Kamala wants to give $25K to first time homebuyers. Where are these funds coming from and what areas are being de-funded or reduce-funded to make this program a reality?

    4. @ 7:35 That's why I/we can't vote Harris, too much vote buying akin to biden's college loan forgiveness; remember all of us is going to pay for it , I'm a retired Dem and I/we seen our bank account depleting under biden/harris, NO MORE!!!!

    5. @12:16 just curious, how is your bank account depleting? All of my long term investments have had gains during the Biden administration, and interest gains from my short term investments have been the highest in years.

    6. @ 3:53 You must be in the 1% bracket and don't feel the pain, by your comment you're a dem leftist elite libbie, you don't understand inflation and high gas prices, blind as a bat as all left elitists are

    7. @ 3:53 Ok, zuckerburg

    8. @9:25 I'm far from Zuckerberg, but looking at my statements from the past few years, there were gains every year, except 2022. But for longer term investments, some fluctuation is expected. For shorter term investments like CDs, I had some of highest returns ever the last two years. So unless someone is looking at 2022 alone, bank accounts should not be depleting.

    9. @ 11:54 You aren't looking at the whole picture; I see you've always been taken care of and probably never known hardship, people like you can absorb inflation and only worry about portfolios, lower middle class and low income people suffer the most under high inflation, I see you've no empathy toward this particular class of people

    10. @ 5:47 Correction: @ 11:44, not 11:54

    11. @5:47 I'll give that. I can absorb high inflation not because I'm rich, but because I started working at a young age and contributed to long term investments as a teenager. I have no vices, such as drinking, gambling, or buying name brands. I have also never had a brand new car - always used. I guess I've always been taught to prepare for the worse, but hope for the best.

    12. @ 8:00 A miser, bet you don't give to charities and good causes, yes, I've know people like you, money is everything, feel sorry for your spouse if ever married

    13. @1:09 the reality is that nobody's promised tomorrow. Many people lost their jobs and even their lives during the pandemic. I was laid off a year into the pandemic and my wife was laid off last year. I wouldn't consider myself to be a miser. We just like to spend on something of more value, such as travel. Please don't make assumptions about people you know absolutely nothing about.

    14. @ 1:09 Look at what you've done, now @ 8:00 might just go and buy new Kia

    15. @ 3:53 You realized you are patronizing and narcissistic? On top of that you've no sympathy for the lessor offs, no heart

  3. Dana was narrating the interview segments and letting viewers know what topics were upcoming, so I thought the LIVE tag was not a big deal. I didn't even notice it until it was pointed out later.

  4. Back in the day, I thought I was pretty cool for hitch-hiking to Calgary, and later catching a freight train out of town.
I was also on a Chris Craft Boat at the end of NAVAL AIR STATION ALAMEDA Runway when the Blue Angels Buzzed us !! Trippin’ in Golden Gate Park at a free concert.
Life has been interesting. We all have wild stories - but in the end, what really matters are friends and adventures

  5. KTVU is absolutely pathetic. No one there even knows the most basic geography of the Bay Area, nor do they care to fact-check their stories.

The latest example: during its coverage of the Ricky Pearsall shooting, they kept referring to the location of the shooting as Geary & Hyde, which is in the Tenderloin. The shooting actually occurred at Geary & Grant, just off Union Square. Clearly, none of the staff at KTVU are even slightly familiar with the geography because if they were, the moment they saw the video—with the YSL and Valentino stores in the background—they would have immediately known it was not the Tenderloin.

    1. You're lucky if KTVU personnel can log into their computers. I think they employ chimpanzees for most of their tasks, and pay them in bananas.

  6. Looks like SFGate is finally expanding their horizons, branching out from the played out wet burritos and purple houses that they're obsessed with covering. This morning their website featured this lead story atop their home page, "Meet the runners who visited every San Francisco Taco Bell in one day"

You can't make this shit up.
