But I know that you do not watch the morning show on KPIX too, so that is why I did not ask. I actually thought about emailing the morning show, to see if Nicole had done a "Betty Yu" and was now working at KTVU with Betty!
sorry to hear about famiy issue. Why do tv stations nt acknowledge a person being gone? not reason why but " suzie smith is no longer at the station" seems silly to act like a person was never there?they did that with Starranino, and someone else. The Black guy who moved to Florida and Mary lee are only ones we know they left. Why is Mary lee back?
Rich I just read an interview with Paulie Mac on SFGate. He went down Memory Lane with Brian Murphy. Apparently these two brain-dead individuals thought their annual Hawaii trips brought them listeners. Talk about being unable to read the room!! A whole bunch of us are working our asses off in freezing weather, while these 2 nitwits were effusive in their praise of the drinks they are being given. Did these yupsters even think about helping the homeless? Did they contribute to reducing pollution in Hawaii? No !! all they did was bellyache that the beach towels were too coarse, the luau music too loud, the MuuMuus too big. 2 grown men on a free trip to Hawaii, thinking they earned it. This is why Murph n Mac should never be allowed to jaw jack on the airwaves, they truly haven’t a clue.
I’m stunned that ktvu lost to kpix at ten. But it doesn’t surprise me. They’ve been going downhill ver since Summerville criticized the gabby petito coverage. Then need to replace Mike with Alex. And Julie with heather.
Thanks for finally covering her. I do not appreciate people for comparing her to other past anchors. In fact she was a very decent anchor when she was around.
Mary Lee is still there because understand one thing. She did not entirely leave KPIX as a meteorologist but rather reporting science stories now & then and fills in now & then in the mornings if Darren Peck fills in the previous evening.
When it comes to the morning shows. The 4 other stations can’t stand in the same room as KPIX. Nicole will be missed and tough to replace. I noticed she stopped wearing her wedding ring months ago. I hope all is well with her and her family, for family is everything!
Sending well wishes to Nicole Zaloumis and do hope she returns. She is a better welcome edition for the KPIX morning news team. More watchable than Circle 7!!
I believe it is Lezla Gooden, a relatively new reporter. Can someone at KPIX or CBS update their website to remove Betty Yu and Nicole Zaloumis? That would be nice. Thanks.
Like another commenter here, I also noticed several weeks ago, that Nicole was not wearing any wedding ring. I regularly watch the morning show on KPIX, and to me, and maybe others have noticed it too, but to me, it seemed like Nicole was flirting ostentatiously, with Reed Cowan. She would touch him, in various ways, such as an exaggerated mannerism, and heck, in the promos for KPIX, where they are talking about the chemistry between the anchors, even in that promo, Nicole was talking about how Reed Cowan was a really nice guy, although I forget the exact wording on it, but couple that with the flirting with him on a regular basis, and I think the "personal issue" is that she either is, or will be, separating from her husband very soon. Just my humble opinion....
Hey 3:09am! It’s me 5:11pm. Nicole is a true professional. Whether she’s on the field, off the field or at the anchor desk she doesn’t flirt with her coworkers or anybody else. Reed is a happily married man, to a man. There’s nothing there other than comfort and respect for one another. He has that with Gianna Franco too. That’s why it’s the best morning show in the Bay Area.
