KCBS, KTVU, KRON, KPIX - they all have a limited set of stories, and they rinse and repeat regularly. The comment about turning off after 15-20 minutes to avoid the repeats is spot on.

KCBS is good for about 15 minutes - just enough time to get the top stories/traffic/weather, then it becomes annoying.
