  1. Say what you will, but all the people you mentioned in this video actually show up to do their shows, unlike Julie Haener who once again was a no show today (2/27) leaving her colleagues to scramble to pick up the pieces.

    1. Haener wasn't a "no show" yesterday...or Monday...or Sunday. No, she's in Beverly Hills flaunting her wealth while the rest of us struggle to make ends meet.

    2. What kind of contract does she have that allows her to miss upwards of 75% of her shifts with no apparent repercussions? Is this level of flexibility standard in the news industry, or does Haener have a unique contract deliberately structured to accommodate her lifestyle? And no, this can't be explained by the cliché notion of 'she's been there a long time, so she has a lot of vacation time.' It's a matter of basic mathematics; there comes a point where you're using more PTO than you've accrued, and your accrual rate is unable to keep pace. Unless Haener has an unheard-of PTO accrual rate where she earns 10-14 days off for every day she shows up, her contract must allow her to miss an excessive amount of work, surpassing what any of her colleagues are afforded under standard PTO accrual rates and workforce policies.

(Rich, this would be a great topic for you to dig into: anchor contracts and how they differ, what they allow for, various terms, PTO accrual rates, etc)

    3. 12:57, it sounds like YOU don't understand PTO. She's been there over 25 years. She not only has 25 YEARS worth of vacation saved up but each year her accrual rate increases. It's essentially a neverending windfall of vacation time for her. How do you not understand that? She likely has as much vacation time in the bank as she does cash. And as we all know from looking at her socials that's A LOT!

Keep living your best life Jules!

  2. I once had a contract that provided for me four day work weeks and 13 weeks of vacation.

  3. Don’t know, don’t care about Haener’s contract. If she wants to “mail it in” I suggest she work at KNBR. She can talk football, beer, her skills at barrel racing, and fashion - a HUGE hit with the kooks at Cumulus.
They can call her show “the Walk”

  4. Why are we so infatuated whether Haener is a show / no show? As long as there's someone to deliver the news, who cares. Some of you have spent way too much time on your hands trying to decipher her whereabouts and looking into her socials. SMH
