While Every Other News Station in Bay Are Covers Feinstein Memorial Service, KPIX Doesn't --Update

Every station in the Bay Area chose to cover the Sen. Dianne Feinstein memorial service at City Hall.

Except KPIX

I'm not shocked anymore by any such decisions but here, PIX/CBS, you made a big mistake.

No excuses.

*UPDATE: Many of you have told me that CBS-SF broadcast the service on KPIXPlus--I'm aware.

As my post above indicates, I'm referring to over-the-air CBS, KPIX5, a big difference.

  1. KCBS covered the memorial but was interrupted many times by the ace anchors. Just let it play out...

  2. CBS is Republican TV, NBC/ABC Democrats.

  3. I watched the entire service live on KPIX today, streaming.

  4. Rich, no need to overreact. I’m sure “Uber-hip” fashionista Sarah Donckey will give us all the details with trance music in the background while she struts from big screen to big screen in studio

  5. I guess they're busy working on one of their new "stories" that defines them. Yuck! Who thought that crap up?

  6. Boring service. Every woke uber-liberal that is responsible for the complete destruction of San Francisco was there. Boxer, Schumer, Harris and on and on.

  7. If she were mayor today, bet you she wouldn’t have tolerated the filth, camping and crime that have taken over SF’s streets. It was a beautiful city to visit when Feinstein was in charge. Now it’s smash-and-grab capital of the country.

    1. Everyone wants to talk about the crime but no one wants to talk about causation. The answer is always lock 'em up. Hell, re-open Alcatraz and force all the homeless there as well.

When you create two societies, separate and unequal. This is the result. And that gap between the haves and the have-nots has widened beyond recognition. Middle-class....pffffttt. What's that?

But continue to point and blame and demonize those who have no bootstraps from which to pull themselves up. There will always be some who are mentally unfit or unwilling to help themselves. But for the most part, the chickens are coming home to roost. And if you listen closely the planet is saying it's over us too! Mainly, the filthy CEO's and paid off politicians for whom profit over humanity and the well being of mother Earth is their only calling.

RIP Dianne Feinstein. She did a lot of good in her career. And will forever be remembered for her strength during the aftermath of the Moscone/Milk murders. We'll focus on that over that burgeoning bank account the siblings will soon be fighting over.

    2. @4:21 I remembered when Willie Brown found out about homeless camping in Golden Gate Park "S" hit the fan, now there's a Mayor who take vontrol and not let anything spiral out of control, he's also a fine mayor to boot; understandably Breed is progressive but also has to deal with a progressive board of stupidsors but in the meantime let things gets worst

  8. Something tells me that there were a select few invited for the memorial service. If it was a religious service, I’d understand. Maybe it was decided there would be a pool for all news stations, minimizing duplication of staffs.
Maybe the KPIX is editing the feed to suit their timeframe.
Mrs Feinstein had been deceased for nearly a week, so anything involving her is basically old news.
    May she rest in peace.

  9. While it is true KPIX did not broadcast Senator Feinstein's Memorial Service on their primary station, they did broadcast the whole service on Channel 44.1. There was a field reporter, Ms. Goodrich, and their afternoon anchors on the desk for the service.
