Pathetic: Greg Papa's 30-Minute Drinking Game on KNBR

ON A DAY WHEN THERE'S PLENTY OF SPORTS to talk, go over, schmooze, rtc, the GRUESOME TWOSOME chose to talk about their drinking habits.

For almost THIRTY MINUTES...and to OPEN THE SHOW!

"Papa and Lund" began their KNBR Wednesday show at the ballpark patio. It wasn't about the Giants and baseball, sports.

More like Greg Papa's alcohol habit, and it wasn't just a few references, but an entire 30 MINUTES! I'm not kidding.

John Lund was equally pathetic but compared to bloody-mary Papa, relatively tranquil.

All in all, another EMBARRASSING episode on KNBR.

And they wonder why their ratings are in the toilet.

Just plain PATHETIC.

    Which is worse, Pop n Lump chortling over their drinking for 30 minutes, or FP going on and on and on about picking his nose at dinner hour? YOU MAKE THE CALL !!

    Anything's better than the garbage that spewed out from KGO 810 the last decade of its existence. Commoncrap Club's weekly Sunday evening show talking about the virtues of liberals while San Franciscans are taking shits on the sidewalk and shooting up outside the hall. You can't make this stuff up.

    When is KNBR going to clean its rotting house? This garbage is an ear-sore to anyone with half a brain. Juvenile hosts who chortle about their drinking, hygiene, vacations — anything but sports. No wonder listeners have defected in droves to The Game.
