Copeland, (Copes) laughs every two seconds; interviews; commercials; interaction with Tommy; it doesn't matter.
Tolbert, when he's not talkin'beer and "my buddies", which is his daily MO, now is nearing the Copes mojo and that's a gruesome audio kill.
KNBR's listeners have abandoned ship, especially 2-6 PM Monday-Friday.
Are they hot boxing before the show?

ReplyDeleteThanks Rich. Laughin Copes and Tol-Beer’s act wore thin a long time ago. If I hear either of their voices, the next sound I hear is that of another station. Copes has a way of using 74 words where 12 will do, as if he gets paid by the sentence. I had hoped they might eventually migrate to interesting topics - silly me. Fool me once…
ReplyDeleteIf I was still program director extraordinaire, Copes wouldn't even be a call screener or producer. It's time they send Tolbert out to pasture, his best days were when he was co-host with Ralph. Who can listen to these clowns for 4 hours let alone one?
ReplyDeleteKNBR sucks. All around. Maybe they should consider play-by-play broadcasts of professional slapping. Frankly, I'd like to see Gregory Poophead and Rudy Fitzgerald go for it. Or even have the spoiled little Golden Domer get slapped by everyone who can't stand him.
