Oh, Baggarly was on JEOPARDY a few years ago and tells good ALEX TREBEC stories which automatically makes him a master insider, maybe on game shows but not so much Giants-related, Even so, KNBR loves him (and Papa-Lund too) because he's a good-looking white guy and has a really good face for radio.

ReplyDeleteOh yeah, this guy is another shrill, like the now-retired Hank Schuman. They're all afraid to rock that boat, to call out the team for the boners they make. See if the Giants gave him a World Series rink or three for sucking Brian Sabean's tool. Another example that gets buried after auto racing, Premier League soccer and Brucie Jenkins' self-serving passion for surfing is Ross McKeon, the former Chronicle Sharks writer who now covers them on a freelance basis for the paper, because the Chronicle doesn't give two shits about hockey. He's another one who kisses up to the team big time. You'll never see anything controversial from him, no way. He'll never criticize Doug Wilson for what he does/doesn't do.

ReplyDeleteRadnich (remember him? talk about not missed) used to try and throw some thinly-veiled shade at Bags, calling him "flamboyant" and some other allusions that obviously meant something significant to Ratso but sorta fell flat when mixed in with his other drivel...he had already lost his fastball by those last few sad years, and after his crutch of Bruno left the show he was digging pretty deep for content and relevancy
