Mister Softie, AKA, Ronn Owens at his Best; 'I Want Gridlock' --Endorses GOP Senators in Georgia (Audio) --KGO Radio's Voice of Treason

I BRING TO YOU, COURTESY KGO RADIO, Mr. Simplicity himself, Ronn Owens, the alleged voice of reason, more aptly, the bloated simpleton.

On Monday, Owens tells his KGO fans he's supporting the GOP incumbents in todays election --click audio here.

Everyone has a right to vote their politics and please, that's not the issue here.

The issue is Owens maintaining his absurd banality as a voice of reason, are you kidding me? No, in reality, Ronn is mister vanilla, never having the gumption to ever, ever take a stand ever in his life unless you count pimping for his buddies, Gavin Newsom and Dianne Feinstein.

He's no voice of reason. He's a mainstream Neanderthal who has about as much social justice as a Berkeley 7-11.

For years, Owens has preached, "I want gridlock." For what, Ronnnnnnn? And in today's economic land mine with a pandemic that has killed over 340 thousand people in this country and resulted in a depression and millions of people unemployed and businesses going under and genuine suffering.

A Democratic majority in the Senate --which is why we're all paying attention to the Georgia Senate election, allows for stimulus legislation to pass roadblocks and President Biden to fast-forward social programs to the needy--he'll need that help in the Senate, a democratic senate.

Yet, Mr. Softie, aka Owens, wants gridlock nonetheless so he can kowtow to his buddies at the Concordia Club --"I'm really not a lib!"

NO SHIT, SHERLOCK! You've never been a lib. You never take a stand. Your moral high ground is lunch at the North Beach Restaurant with Willie Brown paying. And that's it. For 45 years, you built a reputation as some social justice pioneer which is pretty much unmitigated bullshit. The truth is, Ronnnnn, you are total NOTHING.

The empty suit. Voice of reason? Try voice of treason

What a schmuck you are, Ronnnn, Mister. Softie at his best.

  2. I'll take gridlock over unchecked progressive liberals, who are an economic and social train wreck detached from reality and common sense.

    1. Yes, I prefer the reality of the Trumptards in office now. Much saner, don't you think?

    2. I guess this dumbass @1:59 loves the rules the House put into effect so far. You can't refer to your mother as your mother or your father as your father, you must use "parent". That is among the other pronouns Pelosi and the libdiots banned.

      Now THATS lunacy!

    3. Hey anonymous 1:59. I'm glad trump will be gone very soon as well as all of his family and sycophants BUT balance in government is good, unless you're as dumb as a post, of course.

    4. 6:04. Don't forget the change from Amen at the opening prayer in congress to Aman, Awoman. Amen translates to Let It Be So.

      What idiots...

    5. I'll take unchecked liberalism, rampant homelessness, Antifa, BLM, Awoman, and other political correctness....over force-fed Christianity (or ANY religion), force-fed patriotism and nationalism, Proud Boys, gun-toting rednecks, and general intolerance for anyone or anything not "America First."

  3. Didn't Ronn work with Larry King way back when in Miami? I remember them being tight when I used to listen to Owens (20 years ago)

    1. Ronn never worked with Larry King. Ronn worked at WKAT. Larry worked at WIOD doing overnights.

  4. Either side unchecked is a very bad idea. As Patrick Henry famously said "Give me gridlock or give me death."

  5. I don't really care who wins in Georgia, but I like tuning into KGO for the laughs. Pat Thurston today was defending Democrat Rev. Raphael Warnock to the hilt, even though he has a history of domestic violence, even driving over his wife's foot in an argument earlier this year. Normally she would lambaste an abuser like that. But since he is a Democrat, she was singing his praises.

  6. @10:36
    Hillbilly logic.
After four years of unchecked GOP chaos and destruction, only someone on the lower end of the bell curve would claim that it’s the “progressive liberals” who are “detached from reality and common sense.”

  7. Pat Thurston - certified loon - wants the Second Amendment repealed she stated today in her her show.

    1. Disagreeing with you and being a loon is two different things. Her opinion is different than yours, that is all. I often agree with Pat, but I'm not for getting rid of the 2nd amendment.

  9. Lol, 2:01! If His Willieness reads Rich's blog or heard the banal venting today - thankfully, I and hopefully most readers here did not - let's hope Da Mayor sheds him like a useless suit.

  11. Why do I think that all the Wingnut comments on this thread are coming from the same Right-wing nutjob? First, name the exact bill that the House passed in regards to the calling your parents your parents???? The bill number would be like HR-1.
Second, the 2nd Amendment says that you must be in a well Regulated Militia to keep and bear Arms, are you in a one? That Amendment needs to be made more clear to specify which weapons and whom may actually own them etc. Article IV lays out that you can pass a new amendment, just like Prohibition was repealed. Most Conservative, but not wacko's past and present members of the Supreme Court have said in books and interviews that it is the worst written of the 27 Amendments. If it was to be repealed it should have been done in the 1950's. The Genie is out of the bottle now. It just needs to be changed.

  14. Ronn is still living in the Colonial period, he said the same crap back in the 80's when I actually listen to KGO. What he does not get, is that the Republicans back them and now, are a different animial. Thankfully the Dems will NOW pass additional stimulus money to many in need. Looks like Ronn, has become a Republican and just cares about himself and unborn babies

  15. Ron is wrong. What we got from the election in Georgia IS gridlock. Leading Democrats is like herding cats. If one or more of the Republicans had won as Ron wished, we would have had total government failure due to McConnell, the self-appointed grim reaper, killing all but budget-killing corporate welfare bills. Republicans spend money on tax cuts for the rich like drunken sailors, but when Democrats come to power, they then scream about the budget that they shot the holes in.
