Personally, I've never had a problem with Bill Martin. He seems the most real Meteorologist on TV. In my opinion, he talks to you, not at you. And he doesn't come off as some know-it-all, like most meteorologists do. If KTVU cuts him loose next year, I am certain he'll have little trouble finding another gig elsewhere.
Word. He was a guest speaker at some continuing education thing years ago and I needed hours. He spent most of the time telling us which websites and services to use to find out the weather ourselves. He came off very genuine, humble, and a regular shlub like most of us in attendance.
