KGO brass strongly considered pairing Chip Franklin with Nikki Medoro on the morning show but had to can it because of budgetary conditions; the fact they mulled the idea that makes too much sense, tells you what KGO thinks of Medoro's reign long term.
Medoro is getting better but still lacks any major improvement in the all-important AM drive; she's still overly consumed with telling people about her kids (every day) and her whiny voice doesn't help matters; she needs to emphasize guests and news-talk related items but then again, Medoro is failed because of her lousy producer. You get what you pay for.
*YOU NOTICE IT EVERY DAY--so do I. The mass second delay from studio to reporters in the field and in their home, it's so AWFUL and it's all there to watch and see on your Bay Area TV/cable channels. I watched a NBC Sports Bay Area post-game show with the Giants' host, Greg Papa talking to analyst, Shawn Estes and the delay was nearly 4 seconds! It's not only bad it's embarrassing.

*KGO-TV (ABC7) has a mini-crisis on its hand as the natives still at the 900 Front Street barn (still working at the studio) are massively gripping over the way-over-top, PC hires --take a look at who you are watching on KGO's air and you see a trend...Whatever.
*Armstrong and Getty are about as even-handed as Alex Jones and AOC.
Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon always looks like they're constipated. Throw Anderson Cooper into that mix. Huge constipation face.

Cuomo's comeback from COVID-19 is impressive enough as is. The news this whole month - too many viruses literally and figuratively - would make any anchor constipated. Lemon is a malaprop a minute. Meanwhile, Cooper is embracing more emotional stories the last 2 years.
