Chris Cuomo Gives Intense Details over Coronavirus Symptoms; Back and Forth with Don Lemon is CNN Appointment TV

Cuomo Prime Time - CNN
Don Lemon (left) and Chris Cuomo

BY NOW you know the status of CNN prime-time anchor, Chris Cuomo, who tested positive for the Coronavirus; he told a very chilling story  on Wednesday.

I like Cuomo, quite a bit. I know he has the tendency to over-embellish but it works. I can only imagine what he's going through right now.

Which reminds me, I love watching Cuomo's pre-show plugs and conversation with fellow anchor,  Don Lemon. It's genuine. It both looks it and sounds it. Lemon, like Cuomo, can be over the top sometimes but I love his back and forth with Cuomo. There's a sincerity there always; two guys sounding like they're having a beer and joking. It comes across as real. Not many things on TV are as robust and authentic as these guys.

Please, I don't want to get into Lemon's or Cuomo's politics--it's not the issue here. I just want to center on their on-air persona.

Is CNN milking this? Yeah and they should. It's pretty incredible and a great many people are curious about this. Myself and millions included.

  1. Most of these celebrities saying they have the Corona Virus are lying.
They want to use this claim to draw more attention to themselves.
People are saying that Tom Hanks was told to make those claims.
He will be used later, near time for the Democrat Convention to lecture the public on issues like Climate Control.

    1. They're also saying the earth is flat, we never went to the moon and bigfoot like Timberland hiking boots. Stop watching Faux News. Do you believe everything "they say"? Who are "they," what is their source of information, how much education do they have? Or are they just a moron like you?

Oh, Rush Limbaugh still says tobacco doesn't cause cancer. That's probably where you got your Tom Hanks story, too.

Hey, look, Obama's a Muslim and he's from Kenya. I know this is true because some idiot with orange skin said so.

You probably voted for that idiot, too. And will again.

    3. I side with 1:17. The Faux folks are clearly impeding Fauci et al and their efforts to contain the virus. We need coronavirus treatments, not conspiracy theories. Sad that we have one group who votes for fantasies over facts, obstruction over effort, talk over walk, fetuses over fetus savers down with that same COVID-19 without whom fetuses can't be saved. One agenda platforms won't improve this country, which has thousands if not millions of merited issues to face. Now go help others by at least sharing legitimate medical references, instead of loud lard radio.

    4. 1:17 , Don't tell anybody, but I heard it from a friend who, heard it from a friend who, heard it that we never went to the Moon. Sorry to be the one to bust your little Blue Bubble!

    1. @2:11PM...but watching Hannity and company at Faux News drool over Trump's every dishonest word is okay in your little world? BTW, Trump's lies have cost lives.

  3. In Lemon's case, it is not his politics, it is his malaprops. Can be too mistake prone with his broadcasts. But he has connections, and there really is nobody else able to fill his hours at CNN.

  4. 2:11 Do you honestly believe someone would lie about being sick. That makes you sick in the head. I doubt ANYONE sane would do that. Something about karma. Several somewhat famous people have died of the COVID-19, some in their forties and fifties. Face reality. Hanna

  6. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the red states. Those people being duped by Trump and Fox News are going to lose loved ones for not taking the virus seriously. Do the voters in those states really want to trade old people's lives for the economy. Once things settle down on the coasts, it will be time for a reckoning party...and remind folks in those red states what their leaders inaction has caused.
