IS THERE A MORE SERIOUS NEWS JOURNALIST in the Bay Area or not?
I have new faith in KTVU News anchor, Heather Holmes, a current on-display news reader who shows her journalistic girth (pictured)
Holmes is not your garden-variety newswoman --she's developed a knack for her latest more conservative, serious-look, news-savvy appearance by appeasing the FOX establishment and Bay Area viewer audience.
She's determined to not only look the part, but BE the part. I can see Holmes chasing down characters in a Bayview district alley, camera in hand, interview -ready.
Holmes has reached the 21st Century.

Delete@1:36 Maria Medinas are a dime a dozen in East San Jose. You could probably find 2 or 3 on any given weekend. Head out there this weekend, hit up the Walmart on Story, ask a few out. Wouldn't be that expensive of a date.

DeleteActually watching Super Tuesday coverage now on CBS, and Norah O'Donnell is anchoring (another Texas woman). She is wearing a red dress above the knees and looks great in it. Add Margaret Brennan and I haven't changed channels yet. HH is just Bay Area market quality, not more than that. She seems happy though.

Had to run an errand at Kaiser Walnut Creek Monday, and watching KTVU in the waiting room, HH seemed to act more professional than usual. I guess I just echoed RL's new view.
