KGO Hosts have been using the ISDN line; KNBR and KSFO too. It's a remote set-up you can broadcast from home and not have to worry about germs but logistically, not everyone is able to have one except the stars.
Greg Papa uses his remote line to broadcast his radio show on KNBR from his Eastbay home, for example.
Tom Tolbert and Larry Krueger have ISDN lines although Krueger does his KNBR show mostly in the station's North Beach studio, so too Tolbert.

*MORE on ex-traffic reporter, Cheryl Raines: she's suing KCBS for sex harassment after her 86ing a few months back--the feeling around the newsroom is more who cares; had Raines been a more sympathetic figure, there'd be more support for her--frankly, she didn't elicit a lot of love from the staff, so there you have it.
*Yes, JR Stone is moving downstairs from KRON to KGO-TV--or, from the outhouse to the penthouse.

Something about Asians that white men don't respect. Lord knows they marry all the most beautiful Asian woman..but hate the men. Radnich just hated all the Asians he ever worked with. Jr learned from the maestro.
J.R. is prone to tripping over his tongue frequently. Not because of intent but because of the lack of experience and training you see in younger reporters nowadays. Honestly, I consider him to be a below average reporter but in the world of journalism today, that does not matter. Radnich does not hate people because of their race. And tell me, what race on planet earth do white men respect?
DeleteIt is utterly inconsequential whether or not a sex discrimination plaintiff was well-liked or not. What matters is the nature of the actual complaint and whether or not the plaintiff has proof.
