That's KTVU too. Actually that's most of them these days. Writers and editors are an "expense" to newsrooms these days. Easier to just cut and paste wire copy and rerack file video.
Yeah, I never understand, on a live shot, the anchor says, "we'll check back for an update". There's no update!!! It's the exact same stuff!!!

And they have the air personality read some commercials to fool you to thinking its over.
That ads to 12 minutes of commercials.
Meanwhile....more accidents are not reported. And the station becomes worthless.

The torment on AM radio is only getting worse as commercial prices are dropping to unheard of lows. Imagine, a dollar-a-holler to be heard on John Rothmann or Chip Franklin! A customer won't see $1 on their bill because commercials are sold in packages, but if you do the math, lots of spots on KGO could be sold in the Dollar Store. At those rates, it's only a matter of time before it's flipped to all satellite programming.
