With Kamala Harris Out, Should be The Lede at 6 and 11 but Rain Dominates

IT SHOULD BE THE LEDE ON TONIGHT'S 6 and 11 TV News, she's the former SF DA, a California senator and now she's decided to get out of the race.

  1. Her campaign was a disgrace. A real black eye for her career.

    1. Explain to me why you think that is racist, 8:56? Or were you being facetious?

    2. You know SF politics and I know SF politics. Kamala is a round heel who got where she is the old fashioned way.

  2. Now that she is unemployed, what is she going to do for a job? I know! She can go back to being Slick Willie boy toy!

    1. Not unemployed, this embarrassment is still the US Senator, from California

    2. Dear Black Death. so you think Kamala Harris is "unemployed" do you? She's the junior United States Senator from California. You will see her in action very soon as one of the interlocutors in the impeachment trial in the US Senate. As for the other comment that her campaign was somehow "disgraceful" and a 'black-eye" for her career, it is not an evil thing to run for the highest office. It's a very good bet that the final democratic ticket for 2020 will be Biden/Harris, not my favorite choice, but very likely

    4. I'm not going to take that bet, Ms. Craft. A few months ago, I thought that a Biden/Harris ticket was going to be likely. Harris has a strong background, but frankly her Presidential campaign was just awful. Unfortunately for her, and the Democrats, I think that the consequences from that major disappointment are going to linger. Not sure that Biden, who has enough troubles as it is, would want to be hamstrung by that.

    5. Christine, I say no way in heck is there going to be a Biden/Harris ticket. She brings nothing to the table. That's why she flamed out so spectacularly. Maybe another run in 2024 or 28

    6. It's not my favorite ticket, nor am I saying it is. However, bringing in a cocoa-hued US Senator who is a female progressive, but not too progressive is a win/win for Biden. She'll get more cred via the impeachment trial..

    7. If Biden is nominated and he selects Harris, you will come to mind Christine.

    8. Cocoa-hued? Careful, they'll be asking you to apologize and suspend you from your announcing duties for 1 week.

  3. We're still too close to the Obama years, and given the close political relationship between them, not much chance for a successful Harris run in 2020. But 2024, 2028, who knows? Much better chance for KH then. I expect her ship will sail, but later.

  4. Based on the way she handled her campaign, I wouldn't trust her to run a lemonade stand.

  5. I could go either way on this. The rain affects everyone, while Harris' dropping out makes no difference to nobody.

    1. Interesting how everyone is the first to jump on the fact that she is still holding a office, but refused to address the fact that how she got their and who funded her.

  7. She never had a chance. Unelectable.
Still...I'll take any of the other Dem candidates over Trump.

    1. She started off beautifully during the first couple of debates, but then became a target for other candidates
when they perceived her as a contender. When she was attacked by Tulsi Gabbard on her prosecutorial record,
she showed a temper, which was a very bad look. That's
when her star began to fall. Sad

  8. As has been said by others, the most tragic outcome of her dropping out of the race is that now she can entirely focus her efforts on further destroying our once great state.

  9. Kamala Harris. Extremely insincere.
Has the laughter of a high school girl.

  10. Can you imagine having to listen to that whiny, nasally voice almost every day? The voters couldn't either.

    1. Most of the high-profile politicians that I can think of have obnoxious voices.

    3. Mathematically its impossible, but if you could have a negative polling number...

      she would be it
