Beautiful Woman Anchors ...Oh The Crime!

Image result for ama daetz hot WHY oh why is it a crime to say a woman is "gorgeous", "beautiful", a "classy" look? Specifically, why so if said woman was a TV News anchor?

I've never understood this.

Would it be bad if women complimented anchor men based on their looks? No way.

I'm sorry but last I checked, TV is a visual medium...v.i.s.u.a.l. I'm not saying intellect and moxie be axed, but looks do count, sorry if I offend you and apparently, many of you I do offend.

What about beauty, smart and graceful? Or am I just trying to camouflage what I really think. I think I'm rather clear. And to say I look at a particular anchorwoman without really checking her out, including her physical appearance would be truthful and thoroughly human and honest.

I rave about Ama Daetz. I think she's a beautiful-looking, striking actually, anchorwoman. Again, why is there an issue with her looks? Am I to be castigated for making such a statement? Hardly.

Some women check out male anchors too and they're not looking for intellectual prowess. Maybe that's not the PC thing to do but it's the truth. Men aren't the only purveyors. Whatever.

I'm going to be called a misogynist again and that's the farthest from the truth.

  1. Like myself and you, we are a lover of beautiful women. I can't imagine the News without them! Just the thought gives me the shivers, just terrible.

The full length picture of Ana represents one of the biggest improvements in the News I have seen in many years. They have finally removed the women from behind the barricades they have been hiding behind, and now we can see who they are. For years I called them the "half people" who report the News. I watched Cheryl Jennings for 20+ years and never saw the whole person.

The News becomes more personal and it is easier to connect with them, when they are viewed in full length! It's about time! ABC7 and KTVU weather stations, perfect!

I am in love with all the beautiful, gorgeous, hot and sexy intelligent women we have reporting the News. I certainly hope they realize how much we appreciate them!!

I have seen the word "misogynist" directed toward you many times. The definition of misogynist is...A person who dislikes, despises, or is strongly prejudiced against women, that certainly is "not" you or myself.

So here is a heartfelt thanks to all the beautiful, intelligent women we have reporting the News, it is more than a pleasure watching you in "full length" doing what you do!!

After going through Sensitivity Training (twice), I know I should not use the words hot or sexy, but then again I was told never to lie. I salute you all!!

  2. There's a protest organizing right now...the "Limp-dicked Haters Against Rich Lieberman" are demanding he be fired by 415 Media.

    1. They all tend to be registered Democrats, like Stan.

  3. What nationality is Ama? Anyone knows???

KGO 7 best choice is putting Ama on the weekdays when she started on weekends with Alan Wang. I am glad they did not put Kristen Sze who is the total opposite of Ama when reporting trying to steal the show. Even in the mornings, she try to steal the show away from the other anchor.

  4. Ama Daetz is not ugly, but "striking"? Hardly. She is comfortable to watch as she does a good job reporting and is not threatening. But her somewhat crossed eyes can be distracting. Personally, if you want "striking", look at Maria Medina. That lady is a good reporter and she is like, totally HOT! She exudes sexiness, and believe it or not, she is a mother of two sons!

    1. 5:07...I agree!! As perfect as she is there is one major problem, we don't get to see enough of her. If ever there was a woman on this Planet who should be viewed in "full length," it is Maria Medina!!

  5. Hear hear, Rich. I too like a beautiful woman on the news. Is it so sexist for me to say I love a good looking woman with nice eyes, cute feet, and a nice set of cans?

    1. You all obviously have serious doubts about your sexual adequacy, doubts about your sexuality, and you're probably right. You're practically screaming it from the rooftops

    2. 11:52...Check out the Discovery channel tonight, 10pm. They are having a new episode of "Naked and Afraid," You'll get to see some nice butt!

We have gone from families sitting around watching Ed Sullivan on Sunday nights to watching Naked and Afraid! Social decay, I guess you could say that.

    3. I noticed over the weekend that Weather Channel hired Jacqui Jeras away from CNN and put her next to Alex Wilson to cover the latest tornado outbreak in Texas. That young lady is an up-and-comer if she doesn't get snatched up by a rich guy to go off and have a million kids.

  6. I agree with Rich. Let's face it: appearance is crucial. If the public demanded 60 year old portly people on the air, stations would put them on. Fact is, younger pretty people are nicer to look at. Ama: Gorgeous. Maria: Gorgeous. Top of my list? Anna Duckworth. Wish she was back on TV. (Also, I cannot believe Medina has 2 kids. She doesn't look old enough to have kids.)

    1. Yes, she does have two kids, and believe it or not, they are, or at least appear to be, in their TEENS!!! I definitely think she is who they were thinking about, when the term "MILF" came about! Wow!

    2. I was wondering why they don't try Rosemary Orozco at the anchor spot at KTVU. She has the look that fits the Fox look (at least in this market).
