Struttin' Heather Holmes at KTVU; Catfight with Julie Haener; Alyana Gomez and Leigh Martinez Around the Corner; Don't Forget Gasia; KTVU Divas Fight for Control

Heather Holmes
SHE STRUTS ...PRANCES...walks around the place like she owns it. In theory, maybe she does. They treat her like a God. Maybe the KTVU little people that work in the building are scared of her. That's good because that's the way she wants it. Fear is a big part of her repertoire --even though management hasn't quite figured out where to put her. She's all over the place. Literally and figuratively. That part? Well, that part isn't in her playbook. Still, struttin' Heather Holmes makes her presence know at Channel 2, Fox2, part of the female elite Firm if you know what I mean and I think you do.

By the way, this is a newswoman? Uh, guess so.

Julie Haener
*And we haven't even mentioned her battle of control with stalwart Julie Haener. Julie isn't alone either, there's also femme fatale, Alyayna Gomez, the new kid on the block.

*Leigh Martinez (pictured with Gomez) has begun to get quite a bit of airtime on KTVU. We're possibly looking at a sea change. That has Holmes worried too. Are you beginning to sense a trend?

CONTROL!

There's a lot of female ego on display at Channel 2--most of it is legitimate competition for recognition and appreciation --quite apparent. But BEHIND THE SCENES!!?

Whoa!

I won't call it backstabbing because too many of the ladies don't want to go that far --but look out, there's a HUGE storm brewing.

(Truthfully, most of them can't stand each other and are ready for the KILL!)

So the characters are in play: Struttin' Heather Holmes; stable stalwart Julie Haener; Leigh Martinez and Alayna Gomez.

And I haven't even mentioned morning kitten, Gasia Mikaelian, observing the action from her AM perch --quiet for now but could soon be on the attack. She too is a control freak, that seems to be a common theme at the Bay Area's Firm. Heaven knows what's in store if the Gasser gets pissed.

WATCH OUT!

  1. Mmmmm Heather, cat fights, that's the stuff I live for. Thank you Rich.

  2. Sounds like KTVU need a real queen bee, someone like a Jessica Aquirre, to keep those cackling chicks in line.

Agreed. I'm sick of hearing about "diversity" when diversity really means more and more of the same thing.

Catherine Heenan--now there's diversity. How many other white, older (but still gorgeous) female anchors are there in the Bay Area? You can count them on one hand and still have plenty of fingers left over. But that's not what the consultants and Jesse Jackson call "diversity."

    4. I agree 2:34, on every point.

From Wikipedia: "(Jessica) Aguirre supports the League of United Latin American Citizens, the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, the Raphael House shelter, and El Hogar De Los Ninos, a Bay Area non-profit which provides education for children in Nicaragua."

If a group got together and called itself the League of United Caucasian Citizens, shit would hit the fan and they'd all be called racist.

Hyprocrisy and double standards all around.

    5. "No, the last thing we need is more latina women." More? Where are the other ones you speak of aside from Leigh Martinez & Alyana Gomez? Not very many Latina anchors or reporters in the Bay Area. Just tune out.

  3. Just let the KTVU women settle their disputes with a Royal Rumble mud wrestling match. That's something I'd pay to see.

  4. Gomez new to the block but trying to control everything? She doesn't look like anything special to me. In fact, she looks like half the graduating class of any East San Jose, Watsonville, or Salinas high school.

  5. Julie, Heather and Gasia are wife material. The others? Dime a dozen in the Bay Area.

  7. What Heather really needs to be called out for is her poor reporting. Remember the prostitution scandal at Berkeley High School a few years back? She completely twisted a BPD PR officer's quote about how there WASN'T prostitution into an admission that there was! And even though she was called out again and again, she never backed down from her statements

    1. I had to google this. I see 2 scandals at Berkeley high schools over the years. There are the girls that were getting into prostitution and the Berkeley teacher that was working as a prostitute a few years back. I remember seeing on the news about a year ago that she passed away from a brain tumor. Very pretty woman.

  9. It's interesting - I came to this blog just after reading stories about sexual harassment at Twitter and Tesla. Sounds like some of your audience might work for them (or the Trump administration).

    2. Sorry. I happen to have a wife and daughter and figure if I wouldn't want someone talking about them like that, then don't want to read it. You should post some pics of your wife, sister, niece or daughter so we can judge their tits and asses.

But then I doubt you're married.

  10. Oil them all, hogtie and ballgag them, and let them roll around on the floor and wriggle out. The first one to get loose wins. Video it; post it on the website. It will break the internet.

  12. Who are the male reporters fighting for more airtime spot? Frank Somerville vs Ken Wayne. Too bad Frank Mali coat, a freelance reporter cannot join in the male battle not as bad compare to the female reporter battle, Julie, Heather, Alyana and Christina. And, I wonder who will take more AM spot away from Gasia.

  14. All you WhitefolKKK...please calm down.
Step outside of the Bay Area...take a tour through the South and the midwest...and all you see are White FolKKK. (there is the token Asian woman or black non-anchor sports guy).

The Bay Area is a haven for reporters/anchors of color...because the region is itself a haven for people of color. But in the south..or midwest? Pure lily-whiteness...

    1. I laughed when the voice of reason, Mr. Diversity, after basically classifying dissenting voices here as "white and racist"....went on to use the term "token Asian". Great use of hypocrisy!
