*SERIOUSLY for a moment, I don't wish doom on most people or places but if you read me you know I've been carping on KTVU a lot the past few years --it's a cesspool of paranoia and personal mayhem. Maybe now they can breathe and exhale a bit.

*Heather Holmes was so taken aback over the Kelley ouster she went over to the Nordstrom rack and bought another black mini.
So Kelley leaves. He undoubtedly got a beautiful severance (in exchange for agreeing not to sue) and he'll go on to make lives miserable somewhere else, either another Fox station, or, if Fox cut him loose entirely, at another failing media conglomerate that can't attract talent worth a damn anymore. This is hardly a "victory." He still has his Rover and his Porsche and his snazzy home and he'll still terrorize good, hardworking people just because it's fun. In school he probably beat up kids over their lunch money too. They're the type who always rise to the top.

ReplyDeleteIf there are pro-Kelly staff members at KTVU, they need to be gone as well. I would not miss Somerville, Holmes or Ibanez, And for good measure . . . ummm . . . Bill . . . ummm . . . Martin, whether he's a Kelley guy or not.

ReplyDeleteThe scary part is if Mellynda Hartel is promoted as she's been planning (the reason she took the gig), that place will go to hell. She is the most incompetent Director of Sales the industry has seen, and only scored the position because she's Gregg's lackey. He knew she was too stupid to do anything but follow his lead and cover his ass. Half the sales team left because they were tired of being thrown under the bus to cover for her ignorance. Chris = Gregg's right hand, and Mellynda is his left.
