*Endearing Dan Rosenheim story: Recently at the KPIX Golf Tournament, Pam Cook from KTVU was there to play as well.

Cook's husband is a freelance director at KPIX.

So, Rosenheim asks her, "Hi, who are you?" {Uh, maybe the longest running morning anchor in the Bay Area?!!}

Needless to say Cook was flustered and Dano was slightly embarrassed --maybe his "retirement" notice had an effect on his cranial practices.

*Embarrassing moment at the old KRON reunion the other week: someone with a huge shopping bag apparently took a ton of food and placed it in her doggy bag. OK, I've heard worse but the "her" in this case was someone who should either know better or is really having a tough time of it.

*Speaking of Cook, KTVU doesn't know how to use her; she's being wasted in an early hour when only insomniacs are watching --of course she should be used in the giggler's time slot, or better yet, midday or even early evening.

*Expect KGO-TV to make a permanent weekend sports anchor hire sometime in the next few weeks.
