Mike Krukow's Cell Phone was On Assignment This Wednesday Morning on KNBR

Again.

It's a joke now but really, even by Cumulus standards, rather embarrassing for the Bleeder to have such a consistently SHITTY, CRAPPY, phone line for one of its star content providers who promotes its star client, the SF Giants.

I pointed this out a week ago but apparently KNBR hasn't closed out its Radio Shack account.

Oh, here's a link to crappy phone line and Krukow's shitty $5 cell phone in case KNBR didn't remove it like they did after my post last week. What a coincidence.

SO, in a Public Service to KNBR and Cumulus --and to the betterment of Bay Area Giants' fans who love Kruk, here's a company that has some good cell phones ..on sale, no less.

You're welcome, guys.

  1. I sure do enjoy watching games much more when the Giants are on the East coast, just sayin...I look at Krukow the same as Fitzgerald, I can't stand either one...

    1. While I am not a huge Krukow fan, I don't find him to be nearly as detestable as Fitzgerald.

    3. 12:24 - Like Fitz, Krukow is a blatant "homer", which interferes with their ability to announce accurately without bias. I don't need to be constantly reminded who the broadcaster is rooting for, i.e. who is paying his salary, and both constantly whine about fouls in Fitz's case or balls/strikes in Krukow's case, which is irritating as hell...go to YouTube and check out a true pro, Vin Scully, you almost never knew he was rooting for the Dodgers, the way it should be, and note he was almost always in the booth alone. And both Fitz/Krukow talk WAY too much, on TV we can see what's going on, it's okay to shut up sometimes. The best sports broadcasters talk the least.

    4. Are you sure about that? With all due respect to Javier Lopez, he's ok, but he's boring. Yeah, he's still learning how to do this but, he doesn't compare to Krukow right now.

  2. How do you know that he's not using his personal phone? I don't care how crappy his phone is as long as I don't have to hear a peep out of that moron Paulie Mac.

  3. Aside from being pissed off at how Fitzgerad got the Warrior job at Papa's expense almost 20 years ago, what is the reason for all the Fitz hate? With so much coming out about Papa's behavior recently, Fitz still looks good by comparison.

    1. I think Fitz is a pompous ass, but folks would have been in an uproar over his job thievery if Papa was
      well-liked.

    2. Listen to the last Fitz Files podcast on KNBR's website and you'll get a taste of why Fitz is hard to swallow at times. He believes his opinion is the only correct opinion. He's hard to swallow.

    3. While Papa's Q rating has dipped of late, there's no comparison in the success of his Bay Area tenure and length and breadth of his career here with that of Fitzgerald, whose "career" was founded on the coattails of Papa and has never generated any positive reaction in this market. Quite the opposite: he has been known primarily in the business and in the public eye as an insincere opportunist. Bay Area fans smell out a phony a mile away and Fitzgerald has always reeked of it. Papa, for most of his career here with the Warriors, Raiders, on radio, and even stints on Giants broadcasts has garnered positive responses from fans and has been well liked. Unlike the other guy.

  5. The issue is they try to call his hotel room so they have a land line

  6. It should be a rule that every call in guest, on whatever talk show, be required to use a LAND LINE! End of problem!!

  7. Krukow: What a joke. KNBR is a joke. White noise in an office is a way better alternative.

Cell phones for phoners: It's a pain sometimes to listen to the interviewee because the signal quality sucks. Why even bother doing a phoner in that case? Ridiculous.

Fitzgerald: Apparently, a personal life situation didn't change him one bit. He's always been a pompous asshole. Outside of the Bay Area, who the hell knows him? Hear that knock on the door Rudy Rudy Poohay? It's Mr. Karma.

  8. Papa and Fitzgerald are repulsive; they deserve each other.

The hectoring Papa could learn a thing or two(humility) listening to Ted Robinson
