WHILE Jessica Castro gets courted by ABC (I TOLD YOU THAT)..and is apparently happy at KGO, her newfound stardom has created a "bigger head" at KGO-TV where she is an anchor and update reporter.
"She used to be humble and very sweet," says a KGO staffer. "Now she's a little more arrogant and it's turned some people off."
Castro's agent tweeted that her client is happy at ABC7 but that may have been merely negotiating leverage --ABC News would like to place Castro in their LA bureau and have offered her a lucrative deal but it may not be enough or indeed Castro wants to stay put in the Bay Area.
Either way, she's apparently become a bit more static at 900 Front. We'll watch and see.
Just a few days ago people were commenting that she was spending more time in L.A If so,she's gone!!! Watch. She's way to good to be teaming up with Donnie and Marie. She has to much talent for am news.
ReplyDeleteI saw her at Big Bear Diner in Rohnert Park, ordering a Big Breakfast Special, and she was so irritable and demanding. She kept screaming about better hot sauce and having someone sanitize the restroom before she used it. I'll bet she dropped a log underneath the table and left.
ReplyDeleteFor as Jesus said to King Arthur in 1085, "Who keyed my fucken car?!?".
DeleteSame Circle 7, same ABC, just the bigger West Coast affiliate, and NO Trixie! We don't blame Castro for either taking the quick flight or long drive down 101 or I-5, if that makes it better.
ReplyDeleteShe's not the type to thank you for a complimentary tweet is one clue I got weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteEh..others do. Those, you wish the best.
I have hooked up with 2 local TV reporters after a few tweets. You just have to be nice and sincere.
Delete5:04: Wallis Alviar and Henry Tenenbaum don't count, Gary...
DeleteWhat is going to happen when Natasha Zouves comes back? Is she going to take the breaking news desk?
ReplyDeleteSomeplace else would be a good place for her.
ReplyDeleteNothing surprise in the work world. When someone gets famous or attention, they will eventually change to a higher level. Look at Gasia from the days she reported in the streets to right now, OMG, two different faces.
ReplyDeleteWho?
ReplyDeleteThese people really think they're somebody, huh?
I watch her for the first time today, a PRO and she deserve a permanent main anchor spot. Just good news delivery with a sense of humor. She has a bigger chance if she move to another station. Over at KGO 7, unless Natasha leaves, she has a good chance.
