Sara Sidner...from the halls of KTVU way back when ...to Thailand, India, Africa and currently covering the Gaza--Israel conflict for CNN as one of its chief International Foreign Affairs correspondent based in Jerusalem.
Just the other day, it seems, Sidner was describing the scene from a 3-alarm fire in the Marina.
You've come a long way, baby.

ReplyDeleteToo much matzah.
DeleteShe is getting bigger...Literally!
DeleteBoth Sidner and Ted Rowlands, who is also at CNN, were lucky to have been at KTVU when the station valued in-depth coverage.
ReplyDeleteWhat nationality is she?
ReplyDeleteyou can relax, she is american.
Delete5'44pm, to inquire what racial heritage someone is , is not in and of itself racist. We humans have eyes, we look and learn about our surroundings by looking. We discuss what has been seen. So take a pink pill or two, and come down off your high plastic horse. She's an attractive woman, that's worth discussing, don't you agree?
DeleteKudos to her...she has been in some real dicey places...carving out a nice career for herself !
ReplyDeleteBig fan of Sara. I've been watching her on CNN for a while and I always wonder WHY IN THE HELL DID KTVU LET HER GO!?
ReplyDeleteFrom what I've seen her best work came right after the Mumbai attacks. Will she eventually supplant Blitzer and Amanpour? I like her a lot. Then again I'm biased. I like my women curvey, smart and round. Yum!
She busts her tail and works as hard as anyone one comes to getting a story. One of the few people I've worked with who was happier out in the field reporting than sitting at the anchor desk. Usually they all want to be on the high and mighty throne. Not Sara.
ReplyDeleteWho the hell cares how big she is? A correspondent with a brain..as opposed to that CNN bimbo who was too stupid to realize she'd been pranked by the Howard Stern troll.
