A Tori Campbell Moment on Friday KTVU MO2: Bizarro

From a KTVU mole:

So this morning, (Friday), during MO2 while Janine DeLaVega is tossing back to the studio on a BART strike story and the possible effect on the commute, Tori says "Thank you Gasia". (Oops!)

Yesterday, she, (Tori) chastised the crew about making sure things are right since she is out there, but for the person who read a racist joke, and then lord knows why she identified Janine as Gasia....not sure how it registered, but the microscope is still on. (No shit, Sherlock!).

Gasia Mikaelien does not even work mornings, and is the co-anchor on the 5 and the main anchor on KICU's 7pm....funny awkward and odd all at the same time.

Uh, you think?!!

  2. I agree, Tori is "out there." This is the chick who, when violinist Isaac Stern died, didn't even know who he was. "Some obscure violinist guy," is what she called him, surprised we were even bothering to mention it on the news.

  3. When I saw it this morning, I just shook my head. And it just gives those funny video guys more to work with.

  4. Apparently, all people with hard-to-pronounce last names look alike. *shrugs shoulders*

  5. Thanks for validating what I thought all along about Tori Campbell.

  6. It couldn't have happened to a more deserving person than Tori Campbell. I've met alot of people from KTVU, Tori is by far the rudest. Looks like other people share my opinion of her.

  7. She's a dipshit. Cemented it when she read those names. To yell at crew and seemingly blame others for her colossal fuck up, is appalling. Fuck her.

  8. So now that you've gone all kissy-poo with Raddy, Tori Campbell is your new "worst person in the world?"

  9. I was on a Southwest plane, leaving Burbank for Vegas on Thursday, and a group of eight behind me could not stop talking about this KTVU gaffe. Half thought Tori should have been fired, some thought she read the names on the air immediately after an intern handed her a slip of paper with the info, others thought it was totally priceless no matter the circumstances. All agreed she should have caught the bogus names and were perplexed that she did not. This story is still news, a month later. Amazing!

  10. I think she's losing it.

  11. Tori is at her best, most relaxed, and most natural when reading stories on topics, that, coincidentally, only KTVU allots time for; e.g., 'boy, is it hot in Walnut Creek', or 'the Danville Kiwanis club is having a pancake breakfast' or 'some concerned parents in Lafayette found a bank accounts they didn't know they had and now 40 kids are going to Jackson Hole for a ski trip'.

  12. Gasia said"shit" the other afternoon then quickly corrected herself. My jaw dropped. I don't remember what she was trying to say. But she's cute so who cares.

He's a nice enough guy but NOBODY makes more mistakes than Frank Somerville. But he's white and has a penis so no one even acknowledges his continuing on air gaffes.

  13. I never liked her. She seems like a stuck up surburban Mom. Very out of touch with the world outside of the one she lives in.

  14. If you guys saw the Forbes story about Stanford being the #1 college in America on KTVU, you all would have laughed. KTVU misspelled Stanford as "Sanford" on their graphics during a report. Go look for it on their website.

    1. Redd Foxx was a Sanford graduate...Sanford & Son....which is a nice analogy for KTVU nowadays - a JUNKYARD!!!!

  15. I think by Tori saying she was "out there" meant being out there on camera, reading the news, not out there as in odd or wierd .
