  1. A star is born? Thats a jinx comment if ive ever heard one.

He's a classy guy, always eager to give credit to his team mates and coaching staff.

  2. Not a star unless he wins it. The Harbaugh brothers' championship match up will be the greatest in sports since Serena and Venus Williams were at the top of their game simultaneously. It should be fun! Btw: The fat non-exercising couch potatoes on Facebook bad mouthing the 49ers kicker are a hoot! They walk to the fridge as a form of exercise and have the nerve to attack a professional athlete!? Losers!! I'm defriending all of you!!!

  3. Kap was great, but the Niners' defense was even better in the second half, not allowing the normally explosive Falcons a single point. Their second half performance was even more impressive than the second half of their win over Green Bay in the first round of the playoffs!

  4. Some folks on Yahoo.com believe that the match up of Harbaugh v. Harbaugh was fixed by the NFL. There is no doubt that this match up will bring in more viewers, & money for the NFL.

This match up will also help the 49er ownership money wise, in the way of selling seat licenses, which are lagging, due to the sky high price of a seat. Then there is also the naming rights for the Stadium in Santa Clara, which at this time it appears that no Large tech company wants to touch.

    1. Seat license sales aren't lagging. I tried to buy some this weekend and the pickings are slim.

  5. I don't think the fix is in because other cities' teams would have gotten better ratings than San Francisco and Baltimore. That's what runs the NFL engine: moolah.

My sources say about 25% of seat licenses have been sold to STH's. If what you say is correct, about slim PSL pickings, why is the Stadium going to open with no naming rights? And every time I go on sfgate, the Yorks have "flashing stadium" ads on to buy a PSL?

You don't believe that Brother vs. Brother, and East Coast vs. West Coast isn't going to bring in large viewership for the Super Bowl, & the NFL!?!? They could make a Movie about this upcoming Super Bowl, there are so many sub-plots!

  7. I think brother vs. brother may bring in some casual fans and the west coast vs. east coast thing helps, but I don't think either are glamour teams with elite QBs. I think Flacco and Kaepernick are good, but they're not Manning or Brady. Lots of subplots doesn't make up for a good overall storyline. But hey, I could be wrong. Let the ratings fall where they may.
