Why are you so angry?
They just gave you $50 million bucks and a piece of the action. You've essentially got your own network, loads of money, a hot young girlfriend almost half your age and your pissed off?
Keith, breathe a little...Get out of that Manhattan apt and come out to SF and take a walk around Golden Gate Park. Have lunch at Sam's. Do something. Your way too cranky. I don't get it.

Keith took the money and the ego hook only to discover he'd signed on with a minor league team. When Current didn't acquiesce to his every demand, he pouted and went home making sure to continue cashng his ridiculous checks. To put it in baseball parlance (his favored language), K.O. his getting paid an Alex Rodriguez salary to bat. 202 on a Double A team that's a celler dweller. Mighty Casey has struck out.

ReplyDeleteNo, not for Keith, but I do have a suggestion for you: get something with spell check! I really hate to be the word police, but your brief item was a poke in the eye. The contraction of "you are" is "you're," not "your." "...Your pissed off" should be "...you're pissed off." "Your way too cranky" should be "You're way too cranky." However, "...half your age" is correct. The classic book on our complicated rules of punctuation is "Eats, Shoots & Leaves." Please do not publish this. I do not wish to embarrass you and I am quite capable of making all sorts of writing errors myself. Keep up the great reporting.

Apparently over 300,000 idiots have signed up to pay $9.95 a month to watch that goof ball. America is on the decline indeed...

He doesn't move the needle anymore. He was crushed by O'Reilly on a regular basis back in the day. By regular basis I mean of course all the time. But, even with the nightly ratings massacre, he still managed to draw a respectable million or so viewers. Now, he is on a channel no one watches, and most of the stories by the media that once fawned over him are now about his personal issues with others. He knows he screwed up leaving MSNBC, and with an ego like his, it isn't about the money. It's about respect, and frankly, he just doesn't really get it anymore.
