Giants/KNBR/Cumulus sign 7-year Extension; World leaders React

The Giants and Larry Baer, (Emperor), have reached a new seven-year extension on KNBR/Cumulus, announced Tuesday morning on the Smurf and Smack show. Cumulus CEO, Lew Dickey, dressed in a Max Venable jersey, was in the studio.

"I really just can't contain myself," said an ebullient Dickey. "Makes me proud, so proud." Dickey insisted he would not now consolidate the Giants.

WORLD REACTION....

Washington: President Obama: "Damn, out of sight!"

Tel Aviv: Prime Minister Netanyahu: "Mazel Tov to KNBR, Bruce Bochy and Pecon."

Paris: President Sarkozy: "The only thing I love more than my wife is Lee Hammer and a ball dude."

Moscow: Mr. Putin was unavailable, (he was at the Giants dugout store in Red Square), but an aide said that the Russian leader was "ecstatic." "How's Posey doing?", offered a staff associate.

Athens: Parliament shut down and Greek demonstrators were awash in orange and black. "Go Dickey Go" jerseys and caps flooded the Parthenon. Kruk and Kuip balls seen everywhere.

London: Queen Elizabeth: "Can I be a ball dude?"

  1. And Bay Area Dems, libs, and people of color now sigh and say "Seven more years of Rod Brooks the NASCAR lover, and the only Berkeley Lesbian to ever force a laugh at Raddy and Kruegers jokes of effeminate men, and woman in comfortable shoes that they have met". Both though say "Not that theirs anything wrong with that" when they remember Kate is right there. Yes,seen it.

  2. Rumor has it that Giants gift cards for those making under $11 an hour could not be negotiated into the new 7 year deal. But there'll be free Amici's for everyone today (one slice per person though please).

  5. And a statue of Geraldo Rivera is to be erected on King St outside the stadium, which in fact is to be renamed "Syndicated Great American Talkers' Park."

  6. Great idea about consolidation: rookie league, A, AA AND AAA teams all based out of San Francisco...they could play at Candlestick!

  8. Maybe I had too long of a day, but I totally don't understand this post. I guess you get a "creative" rush and stuff comes out that only a select few can relate to.
That aside, I do appreciate updates on media, especially radio.

  11. Since "THEGAMES" signal today is so bad with static..I'm giving Raddy a try on Comcast Rich. And its one of those days where he's cackling non stop and scaring Kate and Larry with his self indulgence. And this is whats wrong with his Comedy talk sport talk-He PILES schtick upon schtick, upon schtick..to where you dont know if he takes anything serious or what he says he means or if what he said was true. Does he have a Bentley?...its now part of his schtick?. The man has no sense of where to end it.

    1. And of course with the slashes at KNBR,denial of raises to the common hard working folks at KNBR for years of service,Raddy thinks its a hoot to brag about having a Bently.
If thats not elitist(and Limbaugh like),let them eat cake humor, what is?

  12. Still will not listen to them. Listen to the games on-line through the MLB website. KNBR is the worst with the exception of Brian Murphy. Complete un-listenable.
