More Radnich Rice-bashing; calls out 'media whores'--he's right, but...

Gary Radnich went further on the Jerry Rice golfing goof, (he's 28 over par in the current Nationwide golf tour and admittedly stinking up the joint and making a fool of himself away from the gridiron.)

Fair enough.

Radnich on Friday: "He's (Rice) just trying to get his name out their and wants to make a buck."

Then this: "All the media 'whores who made a big deal about 'this stuff...(Rice on the golf tour)

Conveniently, Radnich left out the KNBR "morning show" that broadcast live from Rice's own Hayward stop on the tour on April 8. Ran promos for well over a month. Humn.

**More dribble: Radnich' 7000th "joke" pronouncing OakTrib columnist Monte Poole as "Mon-Tay" Poole.

First time, semi-cute. 700x later, not funny.

  1. Gary periodically makes it sound as though he is "feuding" with some of the KNBR hosts, but I've always thought that was just Gary's idea of "good radio drama." Perhaps that's his thinking behind the Rice bashing? I remember he used to pound on Zito until Barry called him one morning.

  2. What has Jerry Rice done to GAry that makes him even more insecure? Phoney is phoney and you will find GAry's pic next to that term in the dickshunary

  3. I now read Rick's report every day because I like knowing I am not the only one that finds most of KNBR lacking in quality.

I used to look forward to Rick Barry's solo show because I was a novice to all things NBA and he was a good teacher. Yeah, used to be a time when KNBR focused on sports and not what kind of car a listener was driving, what strip joint Tony Bruno visited, Ralph's time in Hawaii and Tom wanting a spanking instead of being grounded as a boy.

KNBR pushed me into becoming an A's fan when I returned to the Bay Area. I cheer for the underdog and only this moronic station can make a four time champion franchise into one rather than the Giants, the team with no trophies on the shelf.

My remedy these days is too listen to Damon Bruce and the new to me A's station. I hope Damon's ratings hit the roof.
