Hi, I'm $teve Moskowitz and I'm everywhere; can you $pare some time?

So, notice the phenomena known as Steve Moskowitz? He's everywhere on Bay Area media, from TV to radio to cable. The tax maven buys a ton of time. I mean, like lots and lots and lots of big cash. Nothing sinister about that, until you notice how many times Moskowitz appears as a "guest" or "legal analyst" on, say, Comcast Sports Bay Area, KSFO radio, KNBR? Is it a coincidence that those media outlets where Moskowitz spends a huge chunk of coin are ALSO the same orgs that place Mr. Tax deal on their programs?

A prominent radio ad guy with years in the local 415 market says Moskowitz is one of the biggest clients in SF, spending well over six figures a month. He's a one-man media machine and all need one to do is turn on the TV or radio to see and hear his shtick.

Moskowitz does a daily infomercial on KSFO's morning show. He's all over the place, which isn't an issue until you realize once again, that said guest and analyst PAID the client. Shouldn't we be told that? Get real and welcome to the new business model.

As ad dollars in media become ever more scarce and declining revenue continues to permeate the industry, several outlets have begun taking in more Moskowitz-like clients that are equal paid sponsors and also provide content.

Take a look at KRON these days. Its news and infomercials 24/7. Vegas tip sheet guru Adam Meyer appears on three different KNBR shows as a betting handicapper "guest". Not coincidentally he buys lots of time on the Cumulus outlet. None of KNBR's hosts ever mention that.
