There wouldn't be any coverage. They would be to busy hyperventilating and in the throes of a full on panic attack and lose their shit! Can't even handle a mouse-fart 3+ earthquake without losing their minds. Remember: These idiots aren't from here and know nothing about our topography.
You can cout on me Rich to plug in the electricity, with Jennefer Seelig at the lead no worries and you would not need to complain Peter Felch or maybe you will complain anyways.
Another cheap shot here. Did you not realize that Bay Area stations set some crews down to LA to help their sister stations out? KTVU sent Vacar and Zak Sos plus two photographers. KGO sent Zach Fuentes. I think KNTV sent somebody as well.
The San Francisco Fire Department has their Neighborhood Emergency Response Team (NERT) program. It’s a community based training program dedicated to a neighbor-helping-neighbor approach. People are taught the basics of personal preparedness and prevention.
I just wish they had a one day program. The training sessions are thorough, as they should be, but I think that discourages most people from participating at all.

The GAAAAAASSSS!
ReplyDeleteIn the event of a major catastrophe KTVU would run a special edition of “like it or not” and discuss “solutions”
ReplyDelete@9:00.It's not about the natural disaster, its the fashion statement you make during one right?
DeleteIt sounds like you're wishing for some kind of Bay Area catastrophe. That's kinda sick... hope you don't get your wish.
ReplyDeleteWhy hasn’t Heather Holmes been on the air since Christmas?
ReplyDeleteProbably using up all her vacation time before jumping ship.
DeleteI just saw a photo of H. Holmes on crutches, so something medical somewhere between hips to toes, I imagine. Get well soon HH.
