The way KCBS is going I think Shane Guinness will be on 24/7 doing traffic, weather, sports and anchor all time slots. It seems right now anytime I tune into KCBS Shane is on the air.
What do like about high energy when delivering BS opinions? I want the NEWS but his opinion. Fine when she was on KGO but not KCBS. Now she has more time to defend Bernie Ward
How odd, you were so so critical of Pat, I could never stand the woman's snippy. adamant right wing bias. She was at best a mediocre talk show host, at worst, a perpetuator of misinformation to push her simplistic positions. An also-ran
Pat was terrible at KCBS and before that at KGO. Zero use for aspirational liberals like her, let's change what's wrong with society SLOWLY. Very SLOWLY,. Don't disrupt corporate and investors profits! Those profits fund liberal causes. Don't kill the golden goose.

I’ll keep saying this once in a while. Liz St. John and Pat Thurston always would play around live with Darren Peck with so much of humor & Darren would laugh at it. Liz would refer to Darren Peck as “our friend” and Pat Thurston would come up with some corny cheezy intro before talking live to Darren.
We had fill ins such as Steve Scott & Bryan Goebel that do ask questions but do not waste a significant amount of air time with Darren. Same with Alyssa and the folks like Bret Burkhart & Patti Reising.
Getting to the serious part, is it possible KCBS is showing subtle signs of going off the air like WCBS at some point because of Audacy? I hope Patti, Bret are not affected. Margie and Eric Thomas, I’m not a morning person and work from home but I never liked them too much.
