KQED really needs to be investigated. A former neighbour when I lived in the Bay Area used to give until she reached out to them to ask where the money goes and was told don't worry about it. I always had a sick feeling about KQED and wouldn't give them dust ball from under my chesterfield.
Someone gives $50 to them, it's gone into their abyss. Least with Rich, that same $50 will probably go to his phone bill.
Someone recently posted a comment with the top-level income, expense, contributions, and salary data from KQED's past few public filings. The amount of money that is coming in and going out is absolutely staggering (over $100 million) along with the number of employees they claim to have, which I believe was roughly 570. There should absolutely be a detailed investigation given the significant amount of money moving around and the fact KQED is publicly-funded.
