Join us for next week’s episode of ‘Rich interviews irreverent and unheard of no-names’ when Rich will talk to the guy who bags groceries at Safeway and the guy who works the overnight shift at the Arco gas station down the street.
Was Joe Starkey friends with Joe Capp? Sonny Dykes? Joe Roth? S Bartkowski? Chuck Muncie? Ahole Rodgers? T Holmoe? Coach Tedford (now at Fresno, ol whatsisname?, I’ll never forget him)? Does he miss waving to Tightwad Hill?
Yikes. I can hardly wait.

ReplyDeleteYeah, and I guarantee the guys at Safeway and Arco are infinitely more interesting than you.
DeleteAnd 7:33am? Nothing like starting one’s day with an obnoxious, trolling comment. You’re a winner!
I'm having termite problems - yikes. Rich, can you ask Joe if he has any recommendations for taking care of them.
ReplyDeleteMiss him on the 49ers broadcasts
ReplyDeleteWhen Rich gets Sharkie, the SJ Sharks mascot, to talk, I shall listen. From what I heard, he never talks because the Sharks are choking these days.

Does Joe S miss calling CAL games?
ReplyDeleteWhat does he think will happen to all the old PAC 12 teams?
Joe Starkey was the worst 49ers announcer they had even Greg Papa calls a better game except for those TD call which are over the top.

Ted Robinson is a great guy, but his Football play calling is a snore zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. He is better suited for Tennis and golf, and competitive Chess.
DeleteIn my day, we all gathered around the Zenith in the living room to listen to St. John (he's so fierce). I'm almost 96 now.
