Double Kiss-Ass: Dave Stewart and Brian Murphy on KNBR Friday

5 comments:

  1. Stewart doesn't add much to the pre/post game shows. He once wanted to be part of the ownership group, but now he wants to be owner of an expansion team.

  2. Like KGO Radio, the A's ship has sailed. Another dead horse?

  3. Rather than these meaningless sports talk commentaries, why not talk about bigger issues facing local news, like the NYT did today: Local News Is Dying, But Not In San Francisco. I doubt sports talk will influence the election of a President, or a Mayor, or a Supervisor. Forget all the guys wearing backwards hats and talk about how to improve local radio and TV news reporting in the digital
age without engendering comments about the appearance of female reporters.

  4. Brian Murphy’s days on radio are drawing to a close. Hooray !!!
When Dave Stewart was pitching for the LA Dodgers, he was arrested for banging a transvestite. Those Dodgers are some weirdos. Steve Garvey, the guy who cheated on his girlfriend, who was cheating on his other girlfriend, who was cheating on his Wife. Dodgers are like Murphy, when it is crunch time, they Choke.

  5. Stew wants his own team in Nashville. With the current state of Oakland, it's a miracle that the Oakland Ballers would want to lay roots in the city. Crime has always been a problem in Oakland, but has gotten brazenly worse since the pandemic. Why would anyone or any team want to invest in a lawless city with no leadership. This is not a poor reflection on Stew. It's the mindset of a man who sees the hopelessness in Oakland.
