Since there were a lot of comments from the previous posting about the Presidential debate, it's worth a reminder that debates have little impact on the election outcomes. Here's one of many articles on the subject:
Come on Rich, not you too! Bloomberg is national syndicated, satellite delievered programming with local inserts that are designed to make them "sound" local. They have no local reporters on the ground. No real local investment in Northern California. There's no one in the studio 6 PM to 5 AM or on the weekends. We know you HATE KCBS but Bloomberg is no actual alernative!
Listen Rich. We beat Medicare. And my golf swing is better than the impure malarkey fella. Be back later, time to shower with my daughter before my wife tells me how to run the country.
Bloomberg does indeed have local reporters. They (SF staff) just cover largely technology from Silicon Valley and the burgeoning AI industry in The City and cryptocurrency along with an over abundance of “what’s Elon / Tesla/ Space X doing now”. From time to time they end up on KCBS for a short hit. But forget about the machinations of say Milpitas for news . Not enough to dedicate resources for just a short reader nor interest unless there’s a hidden crypto gold mine buried in that smelly dump site near south 880.
