Thanks for the update on Gasia. Gasia looks good on Prime Time. Correction, she was a Prime Time anchor doing 7PM news before moving to the morning anchor slot, a slot no ones wants to take waking up 2AM, she is perfect for Prime Time. Atleast, she does not have that "ego" like Heather asking for this, asking for that and now, Heather must be angry back at 7:30PM slot. I agree KTVU is testing Heather, Gasia and Christina Rendon to see who fits the evening slot. For the male anchor, Andre Sr is the perfect anchor bringing the fame of Dennis Richmond, key symbol of KTVU, also African American in the Bay Area news. Andre should have been the perfect choice. For female, Heather has too much ego, looks herself too high. Gasia is a solid anchor and I found she done a good job. For Christina, the worst choice, weekends ok. I choose Gasia instead of Heather and if Mike doesn't like it, he can leave when his contract is up. No matter what the ratings will be the same or down hill
This is Frank Somerville. I worked with both Gaddis and rosemary. I can tell you for a fact that they are the two fakest people I’ve ever worked with. As an anchor I knew with breaking news that I could ask bill martin anything. He’s that smart. With rosenary I was scared to ask her anything because I didn’t want to make her look bad. As for gasia she’s just pathetic. She is interested in one thing. Being a celebrity. You learn a lot about people when you sit beside them.
I do not care who reads the news on KTVU or KRON OR KPIX. They are all the same to me. All are as bland as unsweetened oatmeal.
As far as continuity and reliability, as is said in Sports offices everywhere: ability matters! The #1 ability is AVAILABILITY. When someone does not show up, there go the viewers. One of the reasons I turned off Giants games - i will not listen to the C team.
Rosemary is a brilliant woman entrepreneur. She’s a fashion model and owns a highly successful clothing company. All this and her weather reports are top notch.
I didn’t realize Gasia anchors at 10 now. I don’t watch local news anymore. Nothing but a bunch of narcissistic asshats with humongous egos clamoring for attention.
Exhibit A: KTVU’s Like it or Not show, where each day a random collection of anchors and reporters sit around a table, pontificating about nonsense from atop their soapboxes.

Anchors sit in a studio and read words written by someone else off a teleprompter, while reporters go out to the field, wherever the assignment desk sends them, and submit a mediocre report. Where in these workflows are they clamoring for attention or displaying their humongous egos?
I like Mike Mibach as an anchor. He’s professional and never makes a mistake while reading the news. I’m sorry he has to anchor with Gasia again. I hope it ends soon. Meanwhile I’ll be watching KRON until she exits the evening news. I like Rosemary and Roberta, they add pizzazz to their reports. I dislike watching Steve Paulson, he’s somber and boring. Rosemary and Roberta add more interest to the weather reports than Steve. I also find Bill Martin has more depth to his reports.
Anyone know who the new evening anchors are at Kron? Looks like they're stocking the place with children’s toys. I'm talking about that Kermit the frog looking fucker with the rash on his face and the large and in charge miss piggy chick
Good question. Fonzi had shaking hands for a long time which concerned me. It’s curious how someome with such a storied career in local news suddenly disappears and no one brings it up.
Gasia needs to stay in the morning! She's comforting. Gasia has been wearing he same clothes for years, maybe she needs a raise! Dave Clark maybe needs to be replaced with someone else, maybe Mibach. I would say Andre and Allie Rasmus in the evening or Christina, just don't like how Christina slurs her words. Evening news should be Alex and Heather. That would make the most sense and would get the most viewers.

Recently that train wreck of a show featured Tom Vacar, Rosemary Orozco and Pam Cook. It was so cringey.
