This is sad news, but not too surprising. Some of these stations were once good drive time listening, but there are a lot of better streaming options now.
The radio medium was once a necessity for the latest news, weather, and sports. Now, all that information is available at your fingertips any time of the day, and the information is more accurate. Some cars don't even have AM stations anymore. It's sad, but many stations will eventually fold and go the way of the 8-track tape.
