  1. Rich: as much as I try to like you, I just can’t. Too much hate.

    1. Agreed. It’s the reason why some of the SUCCESSFUL sports talk radio hosts he loves to rip refer to him as #DUMFUK when the mics are off.

    2. 1:45 and then 1:48 saying essentially the same thing.
Nothing like writing a comment and then three minutes later replying to it as though you're a different person lol

    3. I'm not 1:45 or 1:48 and totally agree. I did enjoyed the written blog. These video attempts at a podcast are absolutely brutal. It's hard to take someone broadcasting out of a Tenderloin apartment seriously as they rip local media.

    4. Reminds me of when you used to see the Ass Man on here. Reading Rich’s blog, then ASS!!!

  2. Papa's ring goes bye bye. This egomaniac would wear it to the strip club and every dive bar in the East Bay he frequents if he had one.

  3. In KNBR's defense, they did mention that it was a day of mourning today, and that more in-depth analysis would happen during the week. As the 9ers flagship station, I had no problem with what they did today. In general, yes, John Lund is a bit repetitive and annoying. As for Greg Papa, he definitely has an ego, but he knows his football. Not being a 9ers fan myself, I still enjoy tuning in to listen to him break down football with his guests.

  4. It's over. Move on. There are far more important things in life than overpaid dipshits dribbling the ball for a homerun.

  5. KNBR Played all 5 SB Games . It was Great to hear Joe and Wayne again. Joe's TD Call simple to the point alone with Wayne's analysis.

  6. I listed to a person on KNBR Sat Morning. He was Great and should be on the air more. Yes Greg knows football however the person also defined what is a Cover 2 , Cover 4 , Dime package etc. Each filed have their own terms. However you must convey that knowledge to the general public. Take away Greg's terms and he says nothing.

    1. It's not the 'Football 101' show. It's a sports talk show and a sports talk host isn't expected to explain every single piece of sports terminology to the listeners. The listeners should understand some of the terminology. If not, Google is your friend. Listen to other sports talk shows and tell me one show where the host explains every sports terminology. It doesn't happen and it shouldn't happen.

  7. Do you think Gary Radnich felt any bitterness considering the super bowl was in Vegas? It must burn his ass to watch the amateurs on KRON covering the event. Then again he phoned it in for so long he probably would've stayed in SF. I disagree with you Rich. A half time with Barry Manilow would NOT have been good.

  8. You are partially correct. The curse on the team is the JED YORK CURSE. Ever since his lies to players, coaches, season ticket holders and fans in 2013/2014 the curse has been effect. Of course, a curse has to be painful. It will continue..

  9. Paul Heggen was wearing a very bad combination - all black shirt & suit jacket along with jeans. Devin Fehely was tieless but only a black shirt and matching suit jacket and pants.

Is the reason for the black is possibly because of the 49ers loss? Forget the sickouts and all but just wondering

  10. The best part of the 49ers season ending is not having to hear that hideous touchdown call from Papa. It's about as nauseating as "Bang Bang Niner Gang."

  11. KTVU anchors are so full of themselves that they dedicated an entire segment on their "Like It or Not Show" to discussing whether they enjoy being recognized in public and asked for autographs or photos, as if they’re Hollywood A-list celebrities. It's disappointing, though not surprising, to see these buffoons prioritize their egos over meaningful content. Viewers tune in for news, not clownish self-indulgence.

  12. Those sports radio personalties are mostly local teams’ ass kissers with excuses now for them “9ers”, as 5:39pm calls them. Those biased and now possibly clinically depressed guys are more attached to the team than the players themselves like Brandon Aiyuk who sounds like he already has one foot out the door if no big pay day for him before next season and being pissed off for how he was used or maybe not used in the game. George Kittle said today it is not healthy to dwell on the defeat and he will enjoy other aspects of life or something to that effect.

The 9ers were lucky to get past the last 2 teams to get to the Super Bowl and these radio guys want to dwell on their Super Bowl misfortunes including lousy practice field, blown plays, etc. Give me a break. I guess the Chiefs won by luck and blowing up and exposing the 9ers’ mediocre at best defense at the end was a fluke. Yea, according to them and their similar listeners wanting to fire Shanahan, Moody, and others, the Chiefs deserved to lose but got lucky. They forget or ignore that the Chiefs fumbled almost or in the Red Zone as I recall and they always kept the game close for Mahomes to do his usual magic at the end. The Chiefs defense got better as the game went along while the 9ers got terrible. They were far superior and shut down star SF players. You did not hear that from these radio talk homer fanboys.

5:39 is it Frisco or just SF for you? Wish Papa can shorten his obnoxious touchdown call next season but I doubt his ego will allow that to change as he lives in the delusion of people finding it awesome.

  13. Touchdown Ssssaaaaannn Ffffrrrraaaannnn Cisssccccco!!!!! Go fishing and good riddance you carpetbagging loser!

  14. Shanahan is a GREAT COACH, if you want to finish Second.
3 shots at the ring, 3 losses. He is the this generation’s Marv Levy.
Still I would rather get to the bowl than be watching it at home like 30 other teams did…

  15. Papa never liked the 49ers until the Raiders fired him . He loves alcohol first, Buffalo, Raiders and then the 49ers.

    1. This is true. As a lifelong Raiders fan, it still pains me to hear Papa calling 9er games.

  16. Papa was Al’s “beash”. When Big Al died, Mark “the haircut” Davis took over and kicked Papa to the curb. Then Marky saw nothing but money and show dollies in Vegas and shit on Oakland (just like Big Al).
Too bad Oakland did not keep the Raiders name, as there could have been another great Raiders team. They are doomed in trashy Vegas - all flash n gash, no substance there. There will never be a Vegas Raider team that is anywhere near as good as the real Oakland Raiders. They are the Vegas Traitors - cheap imposters.

  17. The 49ers are now the Buffalo Bills...

  18. The 49ers practice, live and play in Santa Clara, NOT San Francisco. They have not been the SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS since 2013. Rich is right about the “ curse.” I don’t think the 49ers will EVER win a Super Bowl for South Bay fans.
