Copes is unlistenable. Seems like a decent guy but can not deal with the incessant laughter at his own jokes and his extremely nasal Ray Ramano-esque voice. Sad that this is what KNBR has become but what do you expect when the medium of radio is in it's death throes?
So 95.7 the Game must be desperate. They supposedly hired walking sexual harassment lawsuit (allegedly) FP Satangelo as a fill-in host for Dan Dibley. Also he's supposed to join the Morning Roast later on as well. Why? Do better Bay Area radio. I wonder what the giggling charlatan, Kopey Kopes, & Cumulus will due to counter this move?
Count me in on the bandwagon who turns the channel when I hear Copes. As the great Foghorn Leghorn once opined,”I hear a lot of choppin’ but no chips are flyin’!” So it is with Copes - he adds nothing, absolutely NOTHING, to any conversation. I called BC once on KGO radio. I asked him if Germany was a rich or poor country. His reply? "I don't know."
