Anxious Times at ABC7

NERVOUS NELLIES at KGO, (ABC7)--a Nexstar transaction looming.

Circle7 sage tells me: "we know Disney is a pain to work for, but Nexstar? Oh my goodness."

You got that right. Suffice to say, 900 Front is a siege of uneasiness.

Watch out, buddy boy!

  2. Some of the people I know at 900 Front Street said the pink slips are coming and it's going to BAD! Rumors are Ashley, Ming, Amna Datez & especially LARRY BIEL will be gonzo. Personally, I'd like to see Biel given his walking papers. His sports knowledge is not very good and his delivery is played out. "Larry! You're no longer needed here at ABC7. YOU'RE FIRED... WITH AUTHORITY!"

    2. Julian Glover unfortunately is not going anywhere. As Rich previously said Julian is currently the 2nd most important Male at ABC7 behind Dan Ashley. Last week while Dan was out Julian Glover co-anchored the 5, 6 & 11 pm newscasts with Ama Daetz. Previously Larry Biel would normally substitute for Ashley but now "Rising Star" Julian Glover, who checks all the PC boxes, has eclipsed Biel in the ABC7 male pecking order. 3. Yeah, I'm aware of that, the same way Kamala Harris is VP even though she probably doesn't even know how many stars are on the American flag, just because she checked all the boxes after George Floyd refused a police officer's lawful command and chose to commit very public suicide. What one has to do with the other I don't know, but maybe some vaping, ripped-jeans Gen Zer with lip, tongue and nipple piercings can tell me.

  4. Ashley's going to have plenty of time to learn new guitar licks.

  5. Journalism and broadcast in general is not a field to go into if you want job security. It's always "anxious times."

  7. Nexstar is not a good company to work for and they have a horrible executive management. And they have the worst general managers in media
