The few work staffers that operate inside the building are FED UP with the goings-on that are the work of diva ND, Amber Eikel and her second-in-command. They CHASE the door when their shift is over. They can't stand the STRESS residue inside. They used to love to come to work; now they FEAR the place and The Firm. It's a good thing the numbers are still strong but even that is hanging on a thread because the slightest dip (and it could be any day now) means DOOMSDAY for Eikel, probably others too.
Rich, something tells me your not going to be receiving a holiday card and a box of See's candy from the KTVU staff this year.
ReplyDeleteSince we're talking about KTVU, why do professors from the University of New Haven get interviewed so often during KTVU's news stories? Do news stations set up contracts with universities to provide expert analysis? I see more University of New Haven experts than Berkeley or Stanford experts.

DeleteI spent four years in southwestern Connecticut, and I'd never heard of University of New Haven. In a city that's dominated by Yale, UNH is a virtual nonentity. If that's where KTVU is getting its talking heads, it's probably because one of the producers has a degree from there and/or contacts at the school. What other reason could it be? If you want "expert" commentary from profs at B-level colleges, you can roll a bowling ball through the Bay Area and hit a dozen of those.

ReplyDeleteBreaking news: Julie Haener is off tonight for the 294th time this year. Does she have that much vacation time, or is she going unpaid when she takes all this ridiculous time off?
ReplyDeleteLook at her social media. She's loaded rich. Even if she goes unpaid I highly doubt it matters to her based on her lifestyle. It'll be nice when KTVU shows her the door and brings in a fresh face with a genuine personality. Someone like a Janelle Wang or Cristina Rendon.
