KTVU Vet Weather Guesser Bill Martin Leaving The Fox Hen House Sooner Rather Than Later

I'VE BEEN SAYING A LOT LATELY about the imminent departure of KTVU Weather guesser, Bill Martin.

Well, it's now not a matter of if, more like when and sooner rather than later is leading the pack.

Martin has been at KTVU for 20 years-plus and has regressed to a point where even his allies (few) are defending him. His on-air persona is both baffling and puzzling; Martin now not only mumbles, he often times tells bizarre little stories and vignettes that make no sense. Furthermore, his forecasts suck.

I used to like Martin for his easygoing style and interaction--he made the weather, even the dull part of weather info, interesting. Now he's plain out and out goofy. I worry about him. I can't watch him anymore and that might have accelerated his sunset at KTVU because the Foxies have placed him on their hit list.

The question now is when. Any day now.
